  1. Nope it's a full blown commercial, I've seen it on there four separate times now around the 8 to 9 o'clock time. Uses the pretty little blonde girl talking about confidence. Comes from the extended video below.
  2. I appreciate the reply. I disconnected the cable and the satellite about a year ago, been living on Netflix, Hulu and Sling so I don't see a whole lot of commercials. I turned on the Dish in the middle of the election just for Fox News Channel because I just couldn't stand to watch CNN and their coverage, That's the only news service that Sling supplies. Glad to see Fox and Glock grow a pair and put those commercials up with Trump getting elected, although it would have been fun if they had done it 6 months ago just to hear the gun grabbers squeal like a pig.
  3. Anyone else seen this yet? At first I thought it was a leftover NRA political commercial but then saw a Glock sign on the wall and they started talking about the Glock 43 I think it was. Anyone else see this or am I just catching up here?
  4. You might check out Martin, Tn. UT Martin being located there you probably can find a better choice of lodging and restaurants there and it's about the same distance as Paris.
  5. You might also try some natural lump charcoal. I have a Big Green Egg smoker and the BGE brand of charcoal is made by Royal Oak. It's all hardwoods, oak and hickory. You can purchase it online or at any Big Green Egg dealer. About $20 for a twenty pound bag. I've tried a lot of cheaper lump charcoals and found a lot of crap like nails and screws in the ash but never any problems out of the BGE brand. I've turned out some great BBQ tenderloin and shoulders. As soon as I fire it up my neighbors start coming out of the woodwork. You can't beat the flavor and it's easy to transport.
  6. Channel 4 News   Three parole officers were asked to leave a T.G.I. Friday’s restaurant in Franklin Tuesday because they were armed.  A manager told the parole officers they were not allowed to have guns in the restaurant. The incident caused a social media backlash and got all the way to the Tennessee Fraternal Order of Police. “The officers are out there to protect the public,” said Johnny Crumby, president of the Tennessee Fraternal Order of Police. “If somebody comes in while someone is on their lunch break, they are not off-duty. They are still an officer. They will respond to whatever occurs there.” The Tennessee Department of Correction confirmed the officers were in uniform and carrying state-issued law enforcement IDs at the time. The restaurant chain bans customers from carrying guns, but law enforcement officers are allowed to eat in the restaurants while armed. Friday’s corporate office interviewed the manager who asked the officers to leave and came to the following conclusion:   The incident at our Franklin, Tennessee restaurant was caused by a manager’s misunderstanding of our company gun policy, and that manager has since been coached on the policy and now knows that police officers are always allowed to carry guns in our restaurants, whether they are in uniform or not. We have reached out to the officers to personally apologize for the unfortunate misunderstanding, and we’ve invited them back in to join us for a free lunch. Channel 4 reached out for an interview with the officers, but the department of correction would not allow it. TDOC officials pointed out the officers all quietly and respectfully left the restaurant when they were asked to leave. 7. The Big Bucket, sold at your local Kroger store. Add three cups (750ml) of your favorite tequila and freeze it for eight hours if you like it frozen or the bucket has a tap built right in if you like it over the rocks. It's not a fantastic margarita but it is a really good one.
  8. Very nice! Never have figured out why Dodge doesn't make the Charger in a coupe.
  9. I have one as well, bad back and not comfortable sitting on my gun. Works great in my situation. Black interior with tinted windows all the way around and not visible on the brightest of days. Easy access but I'm in a SUV so lots of room to spare. The guy that services my vehicle saw it and asked me about it and bought 3.
  10. You're very talented, laughed till my sides hurt. Your Dad has the same gift my dad had, all it took is one look and it said volumes, he never had to say a thing... As far as being racist, only if they WANT it to be and that seems to be most everybody's problem they want to be offended. My wife has  to explain things to me sometimes because I'm a little slow on the uptake of being offended.
  11. Yes fantastic shot. It's that small slice of history you might capture. I drive my wife and friends crazy with my camera. I'll step out of line and hold the shutter button down till what ever is happening is over. I've told her that her job is to make sure I don't get run over by an oncoming car or other traffic. We were at The Grand Canyon and she's convinced if I fell over the edge I'd be holding the shutter button down till I hit bottom...
  12. Not my best, but a few of my favorites. Falls Mills Tennessee Port of Los Angeles California The Island of Hawaii
  13. Might be cheaper to see if Surefire can rehabilitate it.

  15. Went to Smyrna and saw it Sunday afternoon. Great film, first time I've been in a movie that got a real heartfelt round of applause at the end and there wasn't a dry eye in the house as the credits rolled.
  16. I've got an Argentine FN Hi-Power that was willed to me  by my late father in law. He had a trigger job and a reliability package done on it, he used it as his carry gun. It's not a beautiful gun but it absolutely fires every time the trigger is pulled and is as or almost as accurate as my 1911. Plus it has 15 round magazines. I use it as my carry gun full time now.   John Moses Browning once again proves his gun engineering genius.
  17. Just asking the obvious, on how many different magazines? See any unusual scaring on the magazines around the catch slot?
  18. I've seen that before. Some idiot traps the coyote or any other animal in a live trap. he'll bite down on the block of wood, won't release and they tape the mouth closed around the wood block and release the animal. They can't eat or drink and in some instances breathe well enough to survive. So dehydration, starvation or suffocation, a slow painful death any way you look at it. People are the cruelest animals.
  19. So Barry, George, Bill and Jimmy all go to pay their respects to Mandela. The flags in the United States flags were ordered flown at half mast. I would not consider Mandela an  ally of the United States. What pisses me off is not one of the four living Presidents could drag their sorry asses to England to Margret Thatcher's Funeral. Obama sent George Shultz and James A. Baker two ex-secretaries of state. She was not just our staunchest ally, she was a true best friend to the United States. She and Reagan saved millions of lives with the fall of the Berlin Wall and the fall of Communism in Russia. Our flags were not even ordered to flown at half mast after her passing, but mine did.
  20. The OP copied it directly from the DOJ website. It is the official government informational site that directs you to the dot com site for amber alert... That sucks just as bad cause the buttwipe wouldn't even leave a link up to go to the amberalert.com web site. Hell it cost more to redirect the link to an unavailable page than it would to have just left it alone.   They are also forcing people that live on federal property out of their homes due to the shutdown. Here's the link to one of the stories. LINK
  21. Our ever vengeful President Shutdown AmberAlert.gov, but left his wife's Letsmove.gov site in place and unaffected. Shutting down places that have no doors like the World War II Memorial and the Vietnam Wall. Not to mention all the parks and other venues that require no staffing except for maintenance really shows what a small, spoiled, narcissistic little prick that he really is. I'm just wondering if a simple man like me sees it, what about the Russians, Chinese and the Muslim Extremist. How long before they use his blatant immaturity and do something really nasty? They have three more years of  this fool and I can't imagine that they are going to waste this opportunity to do something before a real man gets back into the White House. Somebody tell me I'm being to paranoid, and make me believe it...
  22. I use a Gum Creek Vehicle Handgun Mount. Works great. It's easy to get to, It mounts underneath your steering column. The holster is ambidextrous and is very configurable and has a magazine pouch. You purchase the holster separately or you can use one of your own.   http://www.gumcreekcustoms.com/Vehicle-Handgun-Mount-p8.html
  23. The only problem with a cell phone is you have to be of "right mind" to use it. The person in trouble may only be able to manage a button press and not respond otherwise.  Also if you can't respond to the 911 operator on a cell it may be to late before they figure out who's calling and where they are. Triangulation or Pinging of a cell signal is complicated and takes a while, plus the cell companies usually have to be the ones to do it. Whatever you do needs to be tied to a landline so they can track the call via Caller ID and wearable around the neck or wrist. Think about your own cell phone, how many times do you have to look for where you set it down, not to menton if they fall will they be able to reach the device. The person your trying to protect may only have one chance amd won't be able to go looking for a cell phone.
  24.   Radio is a thinking persons medium, conservatives have a more intellectual mind and their attention is held by thought not propaganda. Liberals tend to do well on the television because they rely on propaganda to get their message out, Propaganda is more  visual and a weak form of brain washing. It gives the weak minded folks something to look at. I'm surprised that there hasn't been an Obama/MSNBC/CNN/ABC/NBC and CBS coloring book and crayons sent out in a free mailer yet. Twitter is a dangerous thing, Any medium that allows anybody to transmit phone numbers, addresses or any other personal data across to the masses is a bad thing in my opinion. To many morons send this stuff out by looking up information on the internet without verification and all it takes is one unhinged individual or group to go out and attack the wrong people (or even the right people) their home or even their kids.   So in short. Conservative Talk Radio = thought. Liberal Television = weak minds. Twitter= No thought what so ever. Twitter is for twits that can only keep one sentence of thought in their head at a time.
