Before you can satisfy anyone about any thing they first have to be willing to remain quiet until they have all the facts and then decide on what actions to take. For some reason for which I have no clue of information the people are not willing to hear the facts first. They refuse to accept any findings of any Grand Juries which are made of of about every race legally in this country. It's not like back in the 60's in Alabama and Mississippi when they had mostly all white men jurors. Every court at every level in our country is made up of a multi Racial and Ethnic group of people....................jmho

I have said this to many times but one more won't hurt. YOU CAN"T FIX STUPID. Evidently this 18 year old had a death wish or wanted to go out by suicide by Cop. Either way he got his wish. These people need to learn that no police officer black, white, yellow or red is going to stand by and allow anyone to assault them or others around them and they damn sure are not going to allow you to shoot them if they can shoot first. Evidently St Louis is going back 150 years to the days of the wild west and gunfights in the streets between good guys and bad guys.............................jmho

A few days ago I was thinking about all the negative things being said about police officers and I thought of a great thing I could do. I sat down and wrote both the Gallatin Police Department and Sumner County Sheriffs Departments and told them I wanted to thank them for their job of protecting and making Gallatin a nicer place to live and wished them a Merry Christmas and New years. I was not really expecting any replies but got these posted below along with the email I sent first: Subject:Thank you!! I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every Officer on the Gallatin Police Department for all they do to protect the people of Gallatin. I am aware that it is a very difficult time for all police officers and I do have the utmost respect for all of them. I hope each and every one of them and their families do have a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year and once again THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH!!! Respectfully Douglas Richards Gallatin, Resident Submitted By: Name: Doug Richards Email: drichards.sr@gmail.com Douglas, Thank you for taking the time to send this email. On behalf of the men and women of the Gallatin Police Department, your support is very much appreciated. I am very proud of this department and the service it provides to the citizens of this community. Merry Christmas! Sincerely, Don Bandy, Chief of Police over5091@bellsouth.net <over5091@bellsouth.net> Dec 21 (5 days ago) to me Douglas Thanks for taking time to send an encouraging word to our police department. Chief Bandy tries hard to keep our community safe. He is a local guy that cares deeply for this community. It is citizens like you that makes it worth serving. Jimmy Overton Gallatin City Council

You can bet if I ever run up on a situation where a police officer is in need of back up that has not arrived yet and his life is in danger I will have his back for as long as possible...............jmho -
Elvis is NOT dead.....here he is better then ever
bersaguy replied to Ron_TN's topic in General Chat
The best impersonator I have ever seen was Roddy McDowell back years ago. Wife and I wet to see him perform in Nashville and if you closed your eyes you would think Elvis was on the stage. He was great. This young man is really good and as his voice matures just a little more he will really sound more like Elvis , I'm sure......................jmho -
It's O'Reilly's fault or Hannity's fault. You have to blame someone for their actions. Dish evidently does not like Fair & Honest reporting.............jmho

One day God was looking down at earth and saw all of the rascally retirees' behavior that was going on... So He called His angels and sent one to earth for a time. When the angel returned, he told God,'Yes, it is bad on earth; 95% of retirees are misbehaving and only 5% are not. God thought for a moment and said, 'Maybe I had better send down a second angel to get another opinion.' So God called another angel and sent her to earth for a time. When the angel returned, she went to God and said, 'Yes, it's true. The earth is in decline; 95% of retirees are misbehaving, but 5% are being good...' God was not pleased. So He decided to e-mail the 5% who were good, because he wanted to encourage them, and give them a little something to help them keep going. Do you know what the e-mail said? Okay, I was just wondering, because I didn't get one either.

2 NYPD officers shot, killed in ambush on cop car
bersaguy replied to RED333's topic in General Chat
Now with this I have said and will say more prayers for the families of the two fallen officers. As far as the bad guy He is already in hell. If I am not mistaken the Bible says that the only true sin for which you cannot be forgiven for is suicide. The bad guy did that so he is Hell Bound on elevator that only goes down................jmho -

I think it would be virtually impossible for the Mayor to fire every cop and replace them with new officers. For 1 reason. The Mayor has no back up plan like Reagan did. Reagan had a complete replacement for all the Air Traffic Controllers that refused to return to work. He had all the air traffic controllers from our military air bases prepared to move into the rolls until new controllers could be trained. The only thing the Mayor would have would be the National Guard and that would have to be approved by the Governor which I doubt would get approved..................jmho
