Yea, I think there are many far more capable men and women that would handle this in a much more mature manner that would be best for the country. The guys from Duck Dynasty, the folks from Swamp people, or maybe even that guy with that silver swamp jet boat (Can't think of his name at present). Any of them could deal with this issue far better than those clowns in Washington DC............jmho

Glad to see your stocked up for hunting season.....................

I appreciate all the likes I am getting from this post I made but it is just fact and if I were Putin and I saw the opportunity to get even for being shamed back when I was a young commander in the Russian Military and got my butt kicked by a nation that had no business in my war I would pay them back also. He has his chance right now knowing we have a weak leader and an even weaker Congress and I would get my payback in too.............jmho

Poll: Majority Of Americans Approve Of Sending Congress To Syria
bersaguy replied to TMF's topic in General Chat
Wish full thinking but will never happen. They don't seem to mind sending our loved ones into harms way and you can bet none of them have any family in any dangerous war zones. They can keep all their family stateside riding a desk if they are in the military at all..........jmho -
I agree with you 1000% on this issue Joe. I for the life of me will never understand why our Federal Government thinks we need to stick our Government nose in another countries affairs. Those stone age people have been fighting wars over religion for 1000's of years and they have been fighting dictators about as long. Retaliation for 9/11 was necessary. The invasion of Kuwait back in the 90's was necessary and had a multi national force of 11 countries in that one. All the rest of these civil wars are just that. Not any of our business. All of the countries Obama thought he had with him he learned and the G20 Conference this passed weekend he learn he does not have. I was hoping while in Russia they would have decided to keep him but no such luck. They made sure his plane was fueled and ready to leave and waved good bye to him with both hands. Unless they come here like they did on 9/11 we have no reason what so ever to be over there.............jmho

Well at the present time Haslam is tied up in his own issues to really worry about Lamar's problems. He has been caught in a few scams that implement that he is trying to lie his way out of and it has got a bunch of folks upset because it cost many folks their jobs and if folks get any madder at Haslam and he steps up and speaks up for Lamar the only thing he would do right now is hurt Lamar which would be a good thing..............jmho

I have a buddy that was investigated by ATF because someone reported him having a great number of guns. Yes he does have a great number of guns and he has them locked in about a dozen gun or more large gun Vaults in a very secured room in his basement that the house could burn down around and not even blister the paint of the safes. He was more than nice to the ATF people and he showed them his entire gun selection and they ask if they could inventory his guns for their records and he said no. They didn't argue with him and they didn't come back with warrants or give him any more trouble. The busy body that told the ATF about the mans guns failed to give them the whole story. All except about 10 of the guns are collector items. Original Winchester Model 12 Shotguns in all grades from Field grade through Skeet and Pigeon grades. He also has a selection of Original Belgium Browning's in Over and Under's in all gauges and grades. He also has Belgium Browning Automatics in all grades. Along with those he had Charles Daleys and LeFevers In double Barrels. The only guns that we not collectors Items were the guns that him and his sons hunt with which are newer guns and they were not stored in the gun vault in the basement but in a gun safe in the basement. After the ATF people we done they suggested that he send for a license as a gun collector to prevent any further issues. Now my issue with that is it is just another way of them knowing he has a lot of guns but I guess by now because of that busy body they already know he has them. I don't know why folks cannot mind their own business..........jmho

Syria - Congressional Vote Tracker
bersaguy replied to MacGyver's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I honestly think is was Obama's Arab Spring that got our people killed in Benghazi and he has done everything in his power to shift the blame on anyone he can but the American people are not stupid and they know it was his fault along with Hillary Clintons yet neither will step up and be honest or even close to honest........ :2cents: -
Punisher, The gun behind every blade of grass was a quote made back on December 8th 1941 by a Japanese Admiral back a day after Pearl when he was asked why they didn't invade America. I think you can safely say now that there are about 5 or more guns behind every blade of grass in America now but I like your post and you can bet We the People will defend our Country. I will stand beside you and all other Americans if that time should ever come.......... :usa: :usa:

Syria - Congressional Vote Tracker
bersaguy replied to MacGyver's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Man I went and opened up that chart at the top and began reading all the different statements made by the different politicians and that is exactly what each answer sounded like. A typical political answer. Some almost made ya want to feel sorry for them for be undecided. If they are so undecided about something this serious what in the heck are they doing in Washington in the first place? When they run for office don't they know up front that things like this may come up and they should be prepared for them?............. :stunned: :stunned: -
I have become a fairly good friend with and indian from New Deli India that owns a Shell market up the street from my house. We talk often. I found out something I didn't know during some general conservation. He runs and operates the shell with his family but the Government of India actually own the business. He is paid a salary to take care of his family and all profits got to India. He said that is the way most of the Indian businesses are operated. I would guess that would include the motels but not sure.

Ethical Question: Do you return a mistreated animal to the owner?
bersaguy replied to TMF's topic in General Chat
If it were me and I had the dog I would put the best interest of the dog first. It is totally evident that the owners didn't do that. I would get the authorities(Humane Society) involved. Let them investigate the environment in which the dog was being exposed to and let them decide. That clears you of all legal issues and puts it in the hands of them. I hope you took a few pictures of the dog before the bath for evidence to show Humane Society. Once the owners are confronted with the facts they may just surrender it up for adoption rather than deal with all the investigating.............jmho -
I use to have a few 22 's that I squirrel hunted with. One was a Revelation semi auto that never ceased to amaze me at how accurate it was and hunted with open sights on it. Any fizzy tail up to 50 yards was dinner.(back when I was young and eyes still worked) Then I had a Remington semi-auto with a scope, again back when I was young and it was a great gun and fairly good to 100 yards with scope but eyes were beginning to go by then. Passed those down the Grand sons. Replaced them with a Marlin 25 MN 22 Mag with a 3-12X40 scope and at the range last trip out I was driving thumb tacks with it at 100 yards. Great shooting gun but I am also talking a Mag and not just a 22lr. I have a buddy that does have a bolt action Marlin 22lr and he loves it. That was my reason for getting this Marlin. That and couldn't pass up on the price I got it for.................

Well I am on broad band with my cell phone company and I am looking to change because my signal won't hold and I am getting booted alot. I spoke with them about maybe the broad band unit on my puter is having issues but they swear it's fine. It maybe fine to them but sucks to me so I'm shopping for anything better that won't break the bank and fast speed it not all that important because my broad band ain't all that fast.

I have talked skip as far away as Alaska back when I had 106 inches of steel whip on back bumper of my old Ramcharger and linear on. I think that is as far as I have talked from front yard. Don't have that antenna any longer and have been looking for a new good quality antenna. Radio Shack quit selling them and Walmart on had low quality ones so still looking for better one than the magnet one I have on jeep now.

Well folks, In all reality I see where Russia is coming from and I think this is payback for Afghanistan back in the 70's when we sent arms and trainers to Afghanistan and they Kicked Russia out of that country. Now Russia has a new leader with a long memory since he was back then a commander in the Russian Army that was in Afghanistan when we sent that help in. Putin is not going to back down on this issue and if Obama and our Congress so stupid as to begin WWIII over this then I say we are in deep Sh--t. Putin is not going to alow the Americans to embarrass him again...........JMHO

Ok so now that at least gives us some idea of who some of Russia's ally's are. Lets see, we thought we had England but they began laying eggs with France right behind them. You know we have Israel for sure but that would be the only country in that region. Japan to this point has remained kinda neutral even though they have built their Navy back to a point? Now we have how many American warships already in the area and talking about throwing missiles at Syria? This is not looking good folks.................jmho

I just happen to know a few of those swift boat captains and not saying this about all of them but the ones I knew were all boarder line lunatics so having them speak in his behalf does not carry much weight with me.........jmho
