1. Lets face it, the left may read it but I don't think any of them would understand it and it would fall in line with Obama Care. The left wrote Obama Care and they still don't understand it almost 5 years later themselves so their possibility of understanding this would be nil and void............JMHO
2. Because my carry gun is a Bersa Thunder plus I own several others.
3. Well actually I was only going to go to see if I could find a shoulder holster out fit I would like to have. I have been looking for one for over a year and not found what I am looking for yet and what I want may not even exist.
4. Sorry, just posted what buddy said it was............My Bad........ :hiding: :hiding: At least it was government entity, just at the state level and I am sure that the folks in Connecticut are proud of their elected officials.............
5. Well I do know this. The VA Hospitals have been know to pass that stuff out like candy to the Vets that use the VA Hospitals. They say they are one of the meds they use on PTSD on a regular basis. I don't use the VA for my medical issues as I have other forms of insurance that takes care of my medical costs. I do have a few buddy's that do use the VA and they are my age and been out since the mid 70's as I have been and they told me that they had scripts of that drug given to them and they didn't even ask for it and PTSD was not even the reason they went in. One of them went in to get new glasses and came out with a scrip of the stuff all filled and in a bottle. Now with that said, a lot of this type of stuff is politics folks. Lower the charges and give less time saves taxpayer dollars in long run. In this particular case if they really wanted to save the tax payers money $1.50 cents discharged from a police officers gun would have save a lot more and he deserved it...........JMHO
6. Gosh that is very close to what I am looking for and if it had the strap from holster to belt it would be perfect. They are proud of them but I guess when what your looking for  hens teeth your going to pay the price huh!!!! It comes in 52 inch chest. My life vest for my bass boat is also a 52 inch chest and it fits a little snug.......... Sure hate to pay over 200.00 bucks and it not fit. Oh well, it's a start anyway and if it's a little tight I might be able to stretch in by wetting it and pulling it between to pipes and letting it dry. Done that with leather belts in the past to stretch them to fit better. Not giving up looking for what I really want. I already bought a Horizontal and wore it a few times but it really bothers me knowing my gun is always pointed right at anyone standing behind me. Might be alright if I wanted to shoot the person behind me but I don't that would ever happen.
7.     Nope got butt in sling and planted :foot: directly where it belonged last time I did that and still not to old to learn new stuff...
8. I have been looking for a good quality leather vertical drop Shoulder holster with the x support straps across the back to make it a secure fit. Anyone have any ideas where something like that may be found and not break the bank in the process? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
9. I would get one because they are a lot less costly then the fines you may receive........JMHO
10. Thanks for the replies folks. That at least gives me some peace of mind knowing that it took a lot of arm twisting and possible threatening to get it for him and he didn't really earn it.........
11. I knew about this about 2 weeks after he sign the junk into law. I knew it would come out sooner or later and it did about 6 months after he signed it. I don't know if there is a way to stop this freight train from hitting all of us Christians and other non Muslim groups but that one idiot on the Supreme Court named Roberts was the only salvation we had and he failed all of us as Americans when he voted to pass it. The only real option left on the table as I see it is in 2014 vote for as many conservatives and Republicans as possible. Then we can hope we get enough people to have enough folks in Congress to defund it and kill it with no money..........JMHO.
12. You forgot 8th ave-12th's. north projects to I-65. Area has been nicknamed Dodge City, Gun fights and shootings every night and University Court on Lafayette street for sure. It is called Tombstone now..........
13. Back years ago I owned two of them because they didn't cost a lot because most folks wanted Auto's and Pumps but I rabbit and squirrel hunted with them and they were great for that. One was  12 gauge J.C. Higgins and the other was a Stevens 16 gauge. I was surprised that the J.C. Higgins did out perform the Stevens. Thats about all I can say about them but as a kid I loved to hunt and they filled the bill for what I needed.
14. Can some one please explain to me how only after about 6 months in office back in 2008 that Obama got awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. Just what exactly did he do to earn that so early in his first term and now that same man is talking about attacking a foreign nation with missiles?
15.
16. I saw where some folks don't agree with chains. I am not a chain person either and where I live is a high traffic two street with a 30mph speed limit that people think means go as fast as you can so when I adopted Kasey or should I say she adopted me I couldn't allow her to run when she was a young dog so I put up a run cable 90 feet long in back yard and had a 20 foot cable coming off it and a coaster wheel system on it so she could run all over the back yard and she would go in carport and sleep under my bass boat. When I was at home she would come in the house. She has been able to go out side now for the last 5 years with no cable. She knows her territory she is allow to go and never leaves the back yard area except when she is in the back seat of the jeep and we are riding around. This is Kasey now. I call her my Pot Bellied Dog.....
17.   I knew I should have just bit my lip on this issue because ever so often I'm still fighting another war and need to stay out of these....................... :hiding: :hiding:
18.   Well if I were guessing I would say we actually have boots on the ground in every country we consider any type of threat to our security and has been since the cold war was suppose to have ended............
19. Yea , I thought about that but I wanted it to sound a little better than just a coverup for something else........... :woohoo: .
20. Well many good points I guess.  I am just tired of them sending our great fighting forces on to foreign soil of nations that have openly admitted they hate us to try and settle their civil issues and our brave hero's coming home wrapped in Flags. I will try and not yell anymore either.    My bad....... :surrender:
21.   I know about that small strike force went in after 9/11 in hopes of getting Bin Laden at his last known location but they were to late, but I was speaking about a major force on the ground. Heck Bill Clinton even threw a few missiles at him in a location he was suppose to be at while he was in office but hit and empty training base with them. He did that right after the bombing of the World Trade center. I do stand corrected about boots on the ground though and thanks.
22. 6.8AR, you ask why there was not a unilateral strike immediately? When was the last time you saw an immediate response from our military ordered by either the President or the Congress? Go back through the last several times our military was called into action and see if there were any immediate actions taken. There are only long term reactions. Going all the way back to Desert Storm. There was not an immediate action about the invasion of Kuwait by Saddem Hussein. There was almost a 3 month delay before we and other nations acted. After 9/11 the immediate action, none. The reaction 5 to 6 months in the making to invade Afghanistan to get Bin Laden. Then Iraq (the unnecessary war) even took over 4 to 6 months in preparation for it. Even when Obama finally sent air strikes in Libya  it was announced a few months in advance it was coming. I wonder how the Attack on Pearl Harbor would have went for the Japanese had they given us 5 or 6 months notice when and where they planned to attack? I think it would have been a lot different. This day in time with our Navy spread all over the world and the technology we have at our disposal such as our drones that can pinpoint fire on a target with extreme accuracy and our missile control systems we now have that can take out a single building in the center of a block of stores we don't need to warn anyone we are coming until we rain out of the sky. Boots on the ground are for clean up after we have eliminated all of the clear and present danger by air..............JMHO   Now as far as striking Syria, I say no, notta, nah and nill. We didn't pick that fight so we don't need to put our noses in it. All the time that red line was drawn in the sand it was NO BOOTS ON THE GROUND. Now we hear about troop ships with Marines on board in the area. I don't trust those folks in Washington even when I am watching them live on TV because what your seeing in plain view is not what is going on behind the scenes.  Now I don't know about ya'll but I'm tired of hearing about our great fighting men and women being killed on foreign soil in some Muslim country that the entire population hates our guts in to begin with.............JMHO and if any of the moderators of the site think this is out of line please delete it
23. Prayers go out to the man and his family and also for the children. This is something that will remain in their minds and hearts forever. Very sad situation for sure.............. :sadwave:
