  1. When I bought my P3AT a few years ago I bought a right handed belt/pocket clip as I am right handed. I soon found out for me at least I needed a left hand clip belt/pocket to use on my right pocket. The right handed belt/pocket clip when used in a right front pocket (especially with Carhartt pants) leaves the butt of the gun sticking out of the pocket( I don't really care for this). So I got a left handed belt/pocket clip and now the clip sits right up next to my pocket knife in the lower/back part of my right front pocket. I also got a pocket holster and did not care for the way if felt in my right front pocket. So I usually carry the P3AT with the left handed clip still on the gun (even though its not need currently) in my right back pocket witht the pocket holster. that is long and confusing but I hope you understand it and it helps.
  2. I don't have one but one of my buddies who is on SWAT was issued one and it is awesome!

    Bi-pod

Walmart carries shooters ridge which is the same as rock mount if im not mistaken. I have one on my 10/22 and it works great. It looks the same as a Harris but im pretty sure its not the same quality as a Harris. I guess it depends on the conditions you want it for. Plinking plus more shooters ridge works great. but if you want to be like joe in the pic above go with the higher quality.
  4. To each his own but from the 2 I have actually held the serrations would work better the other direction. Next time you get to actually hold one slide your fingers in both directions against the serrations and you will see for yourself. Also the bumps, triangles, or whatever else we are calling the grippy things on the grips feel terrible. They feel too sharp to me but that's just me. I like the 3rd gen the best why mess with a good thing other than bring in more $$$$$$$.
  5. I have seen 2 G22's one at GT distributors and one at hero gear but nothing else. Personally ide rather have the previous model. The serrations would seem to be better in the opposite direction and I dont like the new grip at all.
  6. Remington 870 all the way!
  7. A friend who has his FFl ordered me a custom spikes lower this week (spider logo, allllllll text, and bullet markings in tan and an American flag etched on the mag well). Initially spikes said it would be 4 to 6 weeks as they are behind (like everyone else, no problem). I called Thurs to add an upper and parts kit to the order. The woman I talked to said it would be better to order the upper separate as the lower will ship to my FFL next week! AWESOM! So I got on their web site last night and ordered the upper. I got an E-mail tonight from UPS that the upper shipped out today and it will be here Tues! On top of all that I drove up to Hero-gear Thurs around lunch (sorry to the guy trying to eat lunch as I asked him a bunch of questions)to get a YHM barrel. (YHM said their barrels are spoken for till October!) Hero-gear had a few of the diamond fluted 16" with a 1:9 twist. So I got a barrel, a tan Tapco stock, and a couple of mags. This was a great week!
  8. I have the black rubber Hogue on my 10/22 and have no desire to ever change it. Hogue has plastic and rubber stocks. Make sure you get the rubber stock if you choose the hogue path. the reviews on cheaper than dirst seemed good. I will never buy from cheaper than dirt again. the week of the election they raised the price of ar-kits from 500 to 1000 and are still gauging on many many parts and accessories.
  9. I had on of the first millennium pro pt-111's (bad choice) it was garbage! With less than 1K rounds down the pipe the 2 pins in front and behind the trigger came out at the range. A buddy had the same basic thing in .45 and the lever that you remove to take the slide off came off while shooting.I sent mine back to the factory and as soon as i got it back i sold it. my buddy still has his and hates it.

    PT-111

maybe I was one of the unlucky few who bought a new model before they worked out the many bugs. guns are like cars DO NOT buy a first gen or improved model for at least a year!

    PT-111

I had one (millennium pro titanium 111) it was pure garbage! with less than a thousand rounds through it the pins in front and behind the trigger group came out. I sent it back they fixed it and i sold it quick! a buddy had the same gun but in .45 and the pin/lever that must be removed to take the slide off came off while at the range one day. his also had less than a thousand rounds through it. probably more like 250/500. GARBAGE!
  12. I got one of these a few years ago on black Friday for $80. Once it went through a brick of .22LR it shot just as accurate as my tricked out 10/22. I sold it to a buddy as I have a bunch of .22's but its a great cheap .22!!!!
  13. yes that's the same shop. thanks guys ill have to check it out!

    Curious?

I am no expert on AR's. I have been researching them a lot lately for a build. Why not buy a new barrel, the couple of AR tools needed and new gas tube? Wouldn't you be able to take the existing gas block/ sight off and reuse it?

    tactical shotgun

Remington 870 with a Knoxx adjustable stock with recoil springs. The stock has a shell holder on the right hand side that normally has military grade 00 in it.
  16. ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh nice!
  17. I have one on a Beretta 92fs and love it. It came from the factory perfectly adjusted and after more rounds than I can count it works like the day I got it. It never has needed adjustments!
  18. I have a 3rd gen and I would be happy if they NEVER changed it. I am not the biggest person in the world but I can comfortably handle a Glock. Im tired of hearing the complaints they are too big, they don't come with all the extra crap (redundant safety crap the XD's have, extra front/back straps to fit your hand) PHHHHHHHHHHHH to all that crap. Glock dose not neex to add the extras they sell enough as it.
  19. big difference! Knoxx offers 2 models one with the springs and one without the springs. The one without springs is considerably cheaper. If I shoot bird shot I cant really feel the springs move much but if I shoot OO or a slug I can really feel the springs do their job.
  20. Hurry look now it wont be there too long!
  21. Correct me if I am wrong but did the major Ruger distributors not have in hand a bunch of LCP's on the release date? that's pretty good in my book! Can you blame Ruger for developing a popular gun (LCP) and as a result being hard to come by? Kel-tec p3at's and Ruger LCP's are both next to impossable to get right now and the P3at's have been around for a while now. Everywhere has been out of CCW since way before the election!
  22. I too have seen the pics but pie would kill me (or the Ruger ninjas might) if i posted them. the gun looks SWEET! Not sure if they used the crimson trace laser grip for a S&W 442 in the pic or if CT is already on board with the new product. It would not surprise me if Ruger got with CT and they already have a product ready on Ruger release day. Just wait 1 day and 14 hours to see the pics
