  1. Nope, but it sounds like the Air Farce did.
  2. That's funny right there!
  3. Considering Brooklyn's water source I'm ok with not importing the water.
  4. I thought I educated my kids too by doing as ETP did only to find out later that kids will be kids. I ended up with a hole in my bathroom floor because I thought they'd comply with their training. The news even did a story with kids showing that even after just being given thorough instructions of what to do if you find a gun, (don't touch; go tell an adult), hidden cameras revealed that they ignored such instructions in favor of curiosity. My guns remain in the safe when my grandchildren - or any children - are visiting.
  5. Joey is from Brooklyn. He's authentic.
  6. I think the pizza at Joey's House of Pizza is laced with crack. I go there once a week getting there at 11:15 so I have a place to sit. They have spoiled me from eating any other pizza and thinking it's even remotely good.
  7. This certainly feeds into the narrative of the bed-wetters that armed people devolve a situation into a shootout.
  8. I just can't imagine a $1,100 class.
  9. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2016/01/25/critics-blast-massachusetts-citys-new-essay-rule-for-gun-carry-applicants.html?intcmp=hpbt1   Can't say that I know what's worse right off the bat. I think that the town should be sued into oblivion, however.
  10. If it's ice out I find high ground and watch the show. :)
  11. Being native to the Kansas City area I know how to drive in this crap. Unfortunately, most others around here do not. I took me 1.5 hours to get into work TODAY. :banghead:   The funny thing about 4x4 and AWD is many of their owners think that just because they can get going easily enough it also means that they can stop easily enough. Wrong! And, yes, I own a 4x4 Ram 2500.
  12. I'd fight over $60.
  13. The second picture down shows the sign.
  14. I would worry about solvent's reaction to said glue.
  15. "Level 6" felony? Never heard of that before.
  16. And Jeff Walle needs to spend time at the new store too!
  17. I disagree with the can/should part of your comment. Training has an element of mental as well as physical. Thinking through what-if's is good for you - particularly if you are doing it while you are out. It shortens reaction time if you've already thought through it. It helps you move through the first phases of fight or flight and into the action phase even though it wouldn't match-up with the variables. Many times when I'm out and about I look around and think through a what-if scenario, and I'm happy when I leave without incident.
  18. I was including the plane as light armor in my thinking. No armor in the Zero was just a plus. :)
  19. Yes, when I first read it I was thinking that the round was designed for light armor long before the helicopter was a military weapon: therefore, it wasn't intended to take down choppers. Planes and trucks, yes.
  20. That's what I get for trying to multi-task at work. I read down until they started going into the background of FF and stopped.  :P
  21. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/01/20/rifle-capable-taking-down-helicopter-found-at-el-chapo-hideout-purchased-through-fast-and-furious-program.html?intcmp=hpbt2   I didn't know that a .50 cal rifle was intended to take down helicopters?
  22. There are many things cops don't need a warrant for so good luck with that. Also, if you harass them they can surly harass you too only it's more expensive for you.
  23. Damn! I'm now REALLY glad that I bought an Ed Brown! :)
  24. I only buy online when I must, and it usually isn't something like a gun. Guns & More gets my business because they'll order what I want if they don't have it in stock and it's available at the distributor. They've done this twice for me without any problems and at a good price. Specialty Arms, on the other hand, don't offer to order me squat.
