More like a boil than a pimple.

I shot the 29 with an extension on it and I handled it OK. For my hands the peaks on the 20 were going into my bottom two fingers making it more weird feeling than anything else. That actually decreases contact area. Don't get me wrong, I might get a 20 in the future when I have the extra money to spend because the recoil isn't bad on the 29.

3XL hands here and the finger grooves on the 20 don't work for me.

First Step Into .357 Sig...check! Any Re-Loaders?

So get a factory crimp die? -
This morning I placed an order for a .357 Sig caliber conversion kit in full size and a compact size .357 Sig barrel. I also ordered a carry size grip module, (full size grip for a compact slide). When I receive these I'll be able to convert my .40 P320c into a full size P320, carry size P320, and P320c all in .357 Sig which will complement my 9mm P320. I'm pretty pumped about this since it's my first .357 Sig that I've owned or even shot. I bought the .40 P320c because it was at a good sale price, but the .40 just doesn't blow my skirt up! :) I like the 10mm but the finger grooves on the Glock 20/29 don't work for my big hands. I think the .357 will be a good compromise for when I want more than the 9mm. I have a Dillon 550B press, so now I need to look to re-loading the .357 Sig. Any re-loaders out there have any good advice, recipes, etc?

SIG P320 dimensions? Are there subtle differences?
E4 No More replied to Steelharp's topic in Handguns
The large grips are not available yet. Ryan at Sig Sauer, (866-619-1128), says there aren't even notices as to when the large will be available. :( -
If you have a sore throat from hell then how do you know that you don't actually have strep throat? Do you have dark red blotches/pustules in your throat? Even if you don't I recommend that you swab your throat with maximum strength Ambesol. It not only kills the pain but if it is strep then the bacteria doesn't seem to like it and dies off pretty quickly, (couple of days).

Thanks.

Anyone here sell Chevy trucks [Murfreesboro area]?
E4 No More replied to DaveTN's topic in General Chat
The Murfreesboro dealer also charges a crap-ton of Doc fees. -
Those grips look small. Are they?

That's because they hope to convince you to buy something else on the lot. I think you'd be better off to search the inventory online to see if there's anywhere local that has what you want, and then contact them. http://www.chevydealer.com/Nashville/models/chevrolet/?cs:pro=cgt2&cs:dma=659&cs:loc=en_US&cs:e=m&cs:cid=3287114651&cs:kw=%2BChevrolet&cs:q=chevrolet%20search%20inventory&cs:m=p&cs:kt=91014U0100&mkwid=4403522M&pcrid=3287114651&pkw=%2BChevrolet&pmt=bb&cs:a=chevrolet_retention_sitelinks_Locator -
I don't know. They just handed me a handful of 10mm rounds for free and said have at it.

Ouch!!

The problem with the Gen 4 20 is still the finger grooves being in the wrong place for my fingers. It actually lessens the contact surface rather than increasing it like they should.

I went to the good folks at Guns & Leather today to have Jeff install new sights on my new Sig P320 9mm, and decided to avail myself to the range while I was there. I also took my P320c .40 with me. The good fellows at G&L didn't have a Glock 20 to rent, so they allowed me to shoot a used Glock 29 with extended grips on it. I load full bore .40 to duplicate the velocity and recoil of the Critical Defense ammo that I carry, so they weren't just target loads. I shot the .40 for awhile and then immediately picked up the Glock so I could appreciate a full impression. It was FUN!! Nice fireball coming out of that shorter Glock, but, alas, Glock has to go and put those danged finger grooves in the wrong place for people with XXXL hands, (they had a new 20 for sale that I handled). If you haven't shot a 10mm then I suggest you give it a try just for a wee bit of fun. :) Too bad I live so far away because their range prices were really great!!

Fair enough. :)

I wasn't writing directly to you with my comment, TMF, so don't think that I was calling you out. Several comments in this and in other threads are of the same mindset: I do it this way therefore others who do it differently are wrong. People spend their money on things that make me shake my head on a daily basis, (spinners and huge wheels come immediately to mind), but I don't feel the need to make a negative comment aimed generally towards them on a forum for doing so. If people like driving paid-for vehicles, or only buying used vehicles, or only buying new vehicles, then good for them, but it doesn't make others wrong for not doing the same. You state that people who buy new want to make others envious. That may be true in some people's cases, but I've owned several new cars over the past few years including a 2008 GT500 and a 2013 BOSS 302, and I can say that I never bought one thinking "That'll make ____ envious!" I buy new because I drove too many POS for too long when I was poor. I buy new because you never know what the previous owner did to the vehicle. I buy new because I like warranties so that I don't have to try and fix the car with my big-assed hands that aren't built to fix cars, or get raped by a mechanic to fix something simple. Ultimately, I buy new because I want to, and I can afford to: however, I don't look down on people who do things differently...unless it's criminal.

It amazes me why people are so concerned with what others do with their money as long as it's legal.

^This. Also, trucks have expanded into more luxury models. For me a truck is for work, so it bothers me when I have to get upgrades on some things to get what are to me essentials. For instance, my 2014 RAM 2500 has crappy headlights. In order to get the projection headlights I have to get the next higher model that includes leather seats. Or get the Big Horn that I got and pay $700 for a set of projection headlights. :(

Kinda funny until I thought that the 251st person may have only had enough money to feed his/her self.
