Regal movie theaters begin searching bags
E4 No More replied to Dolomite_supafly's topic in General Chat
For me it's not about the efficacy; it's about privacy. Corporations are constantly looking for ways to invade our privacy, and many people in this world just have an "Oh-Well" attitude about it that I can't support. -
Regal movie theaters begin searching bags

I'm glad that I go to the Malco in Smyrna, but they ain't gonna be allowed to check crap on me for a movie. Screw them! I'll go elsewhere or wait for PPV which is cheaper anyways. -
Cool! Thanks!

Do you know what the failure was? Was it do to unusually high round count/torture test?

Well, for those interested in this area of Tennessee, Guns & More is the place to get them!

The other day I saw an extremely over-priced P320 at Outpost Armory, but the modularity of the pistol and it's .357 Sig caliber offering intrigued me. Guns & More has offered to order a P320 for me at a far more reasonable price point, but I thought I'd seek opinions from owners first. So "fire away" if you will. :)

Never got ANYONE not looking before they sit down...period! Hello? The seat goes down for you easier than it goes up for me!

Funny, my two sisters both bought LC9's today. We'll take them out tomorrow for the first range trip. We bought a purple framed one from Guns & More, and bought a rasberry framed one from Specialty Arms. Unfortunately, Guns & More only had one color-framed LC9 because the experience that I've had with them on two purchases now were completely pleasant. I kept my mouth shut for about 2 minutes until I commented that they both now had girly guns. Regardless, they're happy so I'm happy.

Personally, I don't give a crap about FOX. I give a crap that someone would blog this kind of crap to begin with. Yes, this dip-:poop: has the right to say what he says, but that doesn't mean that I have no right to be upset about it and voice my opinion on it.

"An officer should be able to articulate at the time of disarming why he 'reasonably believes it is necessary for the protection of the permit holder, officer or other individual or individuals'". I'm not a psychologist, psychiatrist, counselor, nor do I know you. That's reason enough for safety. I'm not even a cop anymore and I keep an eye on people OC for this very reason. I won't fault a LEO for the same. Get your panties in a wad all you want, but that ain't gonna change. -
I was in the Marine Corps after Vietnam. I didn't get spit on, but the country's attitude was at best indifferent towards us. It freaks me out a little when people thank me for my service nowadays. No one was thanking me back then, so why now?

"No, it's within the officer's authority to "disarm a permit holder at any time when the officer reasonably believes it is necessary for the protection of the permit holder, officer or other individual or individuals" per state law. Doing it just because doesn't jive. I'm not seeing where that reasonable belief with regards to protection existed, and that's my whole issue." When the officer reasonably believes it's for his protection; not you. You don't get to define anything here. No idea why my quote button isn't working. -

It's the officer's right to just not want him to have a weapon while he's dealing with the biker. It's just the way that he went about the entire encounter that I take issue with - particularly snatching the gun. -
There are some folks who just need kill'n!

I'm sorry, but there are just some people on the left, (and, granted, on the right as well), that just need to live a short life and die a horrible death! To claim that the MIA flag is racist in any way is just so outrageous as to warrant a violent response! This guy writes this drivel because of the very people that he attacks who defends his right to write said drivel. http://video.foxnews.com/v/4416803659001/controversial-column-declares-powmia-flag-racist/?intcmp=hpvid1#sp=show-clips

My only Glock was a G22 that I carried on the PD during the early 90's. I got it because the Sig P220 that I had before just sucked for me, (I couldn't stand the DA to SA transition thing). The Glock cured that feeling, but it weirded me out feeling the frame flex under recoil, and I still couldn't shoot it as well as other metal framed pistols. I have owned 3 M&Ps and have preferred them over the, (admittedly old), Glock because they feel solid with their metal reinforced frames and they shoot well. The only problem that I had out of any of them was the 9mm compact that would drop its magazines right and left. I called S&W and they sent me the magazine release assembly, but it still had the problem. I think is was that the release button extended too far from the frame on that particular weapon. I didn't have any problems with the 40mm compact of full sized 45. I wish they'd make a 10mm M&P since I'm craving a 10mm for some reason, (S&G's of it, I guess). Anyway, as others have stated they can have varying trigger feels, so if you go that way either be selective or rely on aftermarket triggers.

When I was a Missouri cop in the early 90's open carry wasn't regulated at all except within the city limits of Kansas City.

I've seen and heard stupid crook examples during the time that I was a LEO, but that's the first stupid citizen complaint that I've heard - at least on that level. That's great!! -

Although some people's stupidity is astounding, did this really happen? Is this just a "sea Story"??? OMG! I would NOT have been able to keep a strait face in that circumstance! -

^ This! The picture in and of itself without a threat or prior knowledge of the person to whom the picture was sent is a bit of a no-brainer. On second thought I just realized who was appointed the AG position. Perhaps you should go into hiding? :) -

http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/heavily-armed-oath-keepers-inject-new-unease-to-riot-hit-ferguson/ar-BBlDm8L "The Southern Poverty Law Center, a non-profit civil rights organization, has described the "Oath Keepers" as a "fiercely anti-government, militaristic group," and St. Louis County Police Chief Jon Belmar condemned their appearance in Ferguson. Their presence was both unnecessary and inflammatory," he said, adding that police would work with county prosecutors to see if the men had broken any laws. Led by a man who gave his name only as John, the group, whose members wore bulletproof vests and carried sidearms in addition to combat-style rifles, said they had come to protect a journalist from the conservative "Infowars.com" Web site. "There were problems here, there were people who got hurt. We needed to be prepared for that," said the man, who noted that Missouri state laws generally allow the open carrying of heavy weapons of the kind that his group were brandishing."
