The word "suicide" does not appear in the Bible. Catholics and some other religions teach that, but it is not founded in scripture. Jesus could, (in a sense), be looked to today as "Death by cop" for that matter.

Taking up the issue wouldn't make a difference, IMHO. The jurisdiction needs to feel monetary pain for doing this, otherwise they'll do whatever they want to do in the future as well as show other jurisdictions that they can do the same.

Ya'll know that there is an "Ignore" function so you can block people with whom you can't get along, right?   I've said this before and I'll say it again: you use only 7% of your communication skills when you write because most communication is conveyed with voice inflections and body language. Some people's 7% is smaller than other people's 7% based on how well they write. This venue inherently has the propensity to take something wrong and leading to that butt-hurt feeling. If someone says something that you view insulting then ask them via PM about it. If they continue to offend then block them.

The offensive line looked a LOT BETTER than last year. The receiving core was being thrown passes that were catchable, and they caught them. Mariotta was tossing some wicked quick short passes after the fake. I really thought they looked good, but they were playing Tampa after all. :shrug:

Good Christians?   Romans 14:4 "Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? To his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand."    Good Christians should know that it's God's job to judge his servants; not theirs, and they also should know the different kinds of love referred to in the bible rather than associate the emotion as the only definition as we do in today's society.

I think that you misunderstand, come to think about it. I didn't say that conflicting testimony was going on in the same case in which I was a witness. I have known several officers of different jurisdictions who told me that they regularly lied on the stand to win a conviction, (one was my pastor who was a former police officer in Raytown, MO). Some of those instances were where I witnessed the lie not knowing at the time that it was a lie, (in my municipal court), and then later the officer saying that it was a lie. Their rational was that if the suspect can lie then so can they. The one who falsified the BA900A reading I found out from the officer who witnessed him moving the needle. I reported that and it was blown off by the Chief. But really what could I expect when I saw my own judge represent his own client in his own court?   EDIT: Former pastor.

  Where was I a cop? Missouri, in a suburb of Kansas City called Claycomo. A tested witness is one who has testified before the court and has been found to be reliable before the court. Essentially, an experienced witness such as a police officer, juvenile officer, etc.   PS: The term I learned at the Highway Patrol Academy In Jefferson City, MO in 1988.

Not disputing everything that you said, but a police officer does enjoy "Tested Witness" status in the court system whereas a citizen normally does not. Even a lying cop gets more weight to their testimony than the honest citizen.
