That's very subjective. I'm willing to pay for quality, but I don't want to throw my money away on junk because I didn't do my homework first, which is why I ask for opinions first. Given that I have a Savage Mod12 .308 heavy barrel for distance shooting, I don't think any AK would be worth over $800 for playing.

You know, my CMMG M4 centers only after going to the left wall for windage. If you look at the front sight post and frame in comparison to the upper receiver rail and rear sight, it looks as vertical as can be. I took the rear sight off out of disgust. I'm just using the Aimpoint. As far as the original question, it seems to me that all of them are hit or miss no matter who the manufacturer. Perhaps I should re-think the purchase?

What I sent: I just watched this obvious “Hit Piece†on the bill to allow law-abiding citizens in possession of a valid Handgun Carry Permit to carry their weapons into establishments that serve alcohol on the condition that they are not consuming alcohol, and I must say it is a poor example of the balanced reporting that I expect from a Fox channel. One would have thought that it came from a NBC channel. It was distressing to note how you showed all negative comments from bar-goers obviously giving their opinion based on incomplete information. One man states that there is no way to tell if someone is carrying a gun because it’s concealed, so doesn’t the same thing apply to criminals currently? Do you think criminals care if it’s currently illegal? Are you able to tell when they are carrying a concealed gun? You also showed one man stating his assumption that the person wanting to carry into such an establishment was so that he can be a hero. Did you challenge that moron as to how many people that he actually knows well enough to state that desire to him so that he could convey that judgment to the public? Just a few weeks ago, a man shot and killed the manager at Jonathan’s Grill here in Nashville because he was asked to leave. What if the man had turned the gun on the patrons as well? I forgot to add that I constructed the half wall that holds my 75 gallon fish tank the exact same way. It has held the 600 lbs for 3.5 years now without so much as a crack in the drywall.

For what it's worth, I make my garage benches out of 2 x 4 boards. I made legs with two boards screwed together, the frame out of single boards with boards running the center every 16" like they do with walls. Then I created leg braces halfway down the legs. The top was made with 2 x 4's laid next to each other. The Frame is screwed into the wall studs with deck screws/ The one that I had in my old house held a HEAVY vise without problems as well as a single stage reloader, (Lee). I plan on putting a Dillion 550B on the one I have now, and I'm not worried at all about them holding up.
