What range bag are you guys using?
Grayfox54 replied to Thursty's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
Agreed. Mine is a 4 gun bag that I got at Midway some years ago. I took a quick look, but they don't seem to offer mine anymore. Just do an on-line search to find what you like. Remember. Good gear ain't cheap and cheap gear ain't good. -
Uh Dude, I realize that you're new and all, but this thread is 8 years old.

Jimmy Carter, 39th president of the United States, dead at 100!
Grayfox54 replied to The Legion's topic in General Chat
Lousy President. But he was a an extremely good man. -
Do you have a positive ID on the culprit? Is he in fact a fireman? If so, contact his Chief and the Mayor of his town/county. Most cities/counties have an ethics clause in their employment rules that allows for termination for people who's actions bring dishonor to their department. He may think twice if his job is on the line.

Basically its a forced reset trigger system. The gun will fire as long as you apply pressure on the trigger. However, the trigger bounces under your finger with each shot as the mechanism forces it to reset. So in effect you do pull the trigger for each separate shot, but it behaves like full auto. Just another gimmick to attempt to go around full auto rules. Looks like BATF is already going after it. I expected as much.

They're all over the place. Both new and used. Very common handgun.

My favorite single handgun is my S&W Model 18 .22 revolver. This thing is just too much fun and goes along on every range trip. But arthritis in my hands is making centerfire revolvers hard for me to shoot these days. My favorite TYPE of handgun is the good old 1911. Any make, any model any caliber. It just fits me so well. Ok, for number 2, I'll go with the Hi-Power. Another gun that falls into my hand like it was made for it. My favorite 9mm.

This would make a nice Christmas gift.

Ya never know what might happen. I live in a nice quiet neighborhood. Yet a couple of years ago there was a shooting right down the street. In this case it was a disagreement between a man, his ex-wife and her new boyfriend. Apparently an argument turned into gun fire. The shooter was caught quickly and the victim survived. No place is safe anymore.

Blur Bloods was constant money maker for 14 years and was the #11 rated show, behind several big sports programs, at the time it was killed. If you read the articles, the entire cast and crew offered to take a 25% pay cut. Offer refused. Selleck tried to buy the show and take it to another network. CBS wouldn't sell. CBS made up their minds that the show had to completely die and nothing was gonna change that.

When a major network kills one of its most successful shows due to politics, it shows just how committed they are to the liberal agenda. Scary, ain't it?

Its a Bundt cake. You figure it out.

I've been a fan of Blue Bloods since the very beginning. Great show! Like many I was surprised that it got canceled this year after 14 very successful seasons. As it turns out, I wasn't the only one. The cast and crew were taken by surprise as well. They all wanted the show to continue and many tried hard to keep it going. So why did CBS cancel one of their most popular shows? Well, it seems that CBS decided that a show that promoted family values and supported police no longer fits in with their current "woke" thinking. So it had to go. Screw SeeBS! https://www.outkick.com/culture/blue-bloods-aired-its-final-show-last-night-fans-emotional https://www.outkick.com/culture/tom-selleck-rips-cbs-cancelling-blue-bloods-series

Sorry to hear that. Rest in Peace.

This is the bottom line right here. Safety is paramount. Legal or not, if you endanger others, you're wrong. 20 years or so ago I was at a group shoot up in Missouri. We were on one guy's private property and using a large hill as a backstop. One of the neighbors came over and complained that bullets were flying over his property and were dangerously close to his house. Frankly, we thought he was full of it and just wanted to be a PITA. That hill was huge, no way it didn't stop every round. But, just to be sure, one of our guys went over and took a look. 10 minutes later he came running back yelling "Cease Fire!" The bullets were ricocheting off that rocky hill and were indeed landing on this man's property near his house. There was never the slightest doubt among any of us. We immediately stopped shooting and never used that area as a range again. Safety has always got to be the first consideration.
