  1. I had to email John Harris directly to get the info...sad ain't it. He's going through some bad times with his grandmother, so I"m not going to grind up TFA stuff with him until HE surfaces and gets back into the swing. I'm going to email Buford and see I can get some particulars about where/time stuff such as that.
  2. ...I believe you have my stapler
  3. I'm sitting up @ Summit (mom's in for the upper/lower GI combo package). I noticed their signage. All it reads is "Unauthorized weapons prohibited" on the door I came in at 6:45 this morning. According to the state of Tennessee...I'm "authorized" to carry a weapon...hummmmm.
  4. When in doubt...pull the plug out :taser:

    Kongratulations!

Ah yes...4 more years of Serpas, traffic fines being part of the metro budget, and large companies running to the surrounding counties. Amazing what almost a million dollars will buy these days.
  6. Len...you haven't converted to the Kimber yet???...and I thought there was much hope for you...the dark side must be stronger than I thought
  7. Sounds lke you handled the situation properly. Doesn't matter what makes your spidey sense go off...listen to it. Let me know if you find something that'll work to secure the gun in your car better than the glove box.
  8. And (as far as I know) successful! mod. Of course...it was only S&A Magwell/MSH combo on my Warrior...but until today I didn't have the guts to attempt anything under the fear I'd spend more having it fixed. It isn't 100% perfect. It could use some filing on the inside to blend it better with the inside of the factory magwell...but it accomplished two things 1: Got a magwell on my Warrior 2. Got rid of the lanyard loop that I hated. The pistol seems to function fine dry firing, grip and thumb safety still works. Nothing flew off into never never land (I still haven't found a HST round)
  9. Feel sorry...only that he's still alive and taking up air
  10. cowards cut and run...and edit out things they don't like
  11. I was wondering the same thing. I think you'd do we in that position Len. If the chapter is going to make it off life support (if it isn't pushing up daisies already) someone is gonna have to step up
  12. I can't preach too much...I picked up a XD45T last week...and it does shoot really well...but I always go back to 1911s
  13. And I thought we had another convert to the cult of the 1911....then you go and pickup another plastic fantastic :-)
  14. Many a ruler met its demise on the palm of my hand. I found out that if you made a claw with your fingers, it didn't sting as much, and the ruler almost always broke.
  15. Congrats Len..now...get a PC3 for BluRay and a 360 for the HD DVD player and you'll be seen in public again :-)
  16. Samsung...every one I've seen has looked incredible. Stay FAR away from Best Buy....too many horror stories about them not honoring their extended warranties, shoot...sometimes not even the "normal warranty" Believe it or not, CompUSA has some decent deals on some REALLY nice big screens. I also have a friend that MIGHT be able to help ya out in time, not sure though. I'll shoot him an email and see what his schedule looks like. He's up in your neck of the woods. He runs a custom home theater biz..so..he gets GOOD pricing.

Good deal Len...I felt bad after that mixup last week :-)

    Funny thing happened

I'd bet that it was bullet setback from reloading the same rounds rather than the cases expanding from the heat and the bullets "falling" back into the casing. I've noticed some of my older rounds are a bit shorter than normal. I was told it was from loading the same round into the gun time after time.
  19. It was pretty nice. Got to meet a few democrat gun owners...I thought Len was the only one :-) Picked up a FN 40cal...paid too much for it (according to Gunbrokers) but it goes to a good cause. Leeme tell ya...Len is a LOUSY date...every time I turned around he was wondering off...talking to other people....it was like he was having to work the event of something :-) The NRA Foundation did a very good job putting the event together
  20. I'll be there...but solo. The wife has family coming into town so...RSVP for Mr Lonely...party of one :-)
  21. Have these idiots every purchased a gun...or were they spoon fed their "talking points" and like good little sheep they're going with the program
  22. Update: I'm there dude.
  23. Yep...it's sad too. The 1st meeting seemed to go VERY well. I don't know what the deal is. I thought it was on Wednesdays....that's what I get for thinking
  24. ...isn't the meeting tonight...the 22nd?
  25. M1911 has a SMS system for messaging between members. The posted database...as long as it's updated.
