  1. Welcome, it will certainly be different than New York. Different in a good way.
  2. I also purchased one of the first LCPs at Specialty Arms and paid too much, especially since I see them almost daily at PSA for $169.00. Having said that, it has been completely reliable for hundreds of rounds and works great as a pocket gun in summer with shorts and a tee shirt.
  3. Because of the increased popularity for the .380 cal. for concealed carry in the last few years, companies have come out with some lethal self defense rounds.
  4. You can always go with the latest and greatest cleaning kits to come up the turn pike, I have found in the last 50 years of cleaning my guns, a good cleaning after shooting with an old type kit or a new type kit, it works out about the same. A good cleaning is a good cleaning.
  5. Welcome to TGO. Everyone has a different favorite concealed carry preference. For the last two years mine has been a Kimber Micro 9. To each his own, good luck with your choice.
  6. That's all that I needed, but that was over 20 years ago.
  7. Teds Sporting Goods here in Columbia, Tn. carries black powder.
  8. A Ruger 10/22 I have had for 30 years and shot thousands of rounds with no issues. I would never get rid of it, however about 6 months ago I bought a Ruger American Compact .22 wmr and have been very surprised what an accurate bolt action it has been for an inexpensive rifle.
  9. I carried a Kahr CM-9 for 4 years and was very pleased with it, just over 14 ozs. Now for the last 18 months I have been carrying a Kimber Micro 9 and have been very happy with it. No issues of any kind and shoots better than the Kahr.
  10. I sure hope the Perfecta ammo runs well. I just bought 8 boxes of the 9mm for $6.94 a box of 50 and 2 boxes of .40 cal for $8.94 a box of 50 which was all the .40 cal. they had but have  .45 cal. coming in by the weekend at the Spring Hill  Walmart. The sporting goods manager said this pricing is going on for a while longer. You can't  go wrong at this price even if you have a few misfires.
  11. I shoot better at the range with my cm-9 than I do with a much heavier Beretta px-4 subcompact 9 mm. Follow up shots are possible one handed  and accurate if you don't push the distance.
