I agree, I have a LCP and it is not a pleasure. I was considering using it in my Sig P238 Legion. It is much more pleasant than the LCP.

I shoot my Micro 9 at 12 yards, that's where the targets start at where I go. For a 3 inch barrel, it is a very accurate pistol

I've had one for two years, I usually carry it. It has been perfect for about 800 rounds.

I was wondering if anyone has used .380+p ammo. I know most modern firearms say + p is ok for occasional use if it meets saami specs. Since there is no .380 +P specs, there is none saami approved. However I know of two companies making .380 + P ammo, Buffalo Bore and Underwood Ammo.Just curious if anyone has tried it in their .380 pistols.

Welcome, from middle Tenn.

I have a LCR .357 I purchased several years ago, and I have been pleased with it. I shoot mostly . 38 special at the range, but if I carry it, I use Hornady Critical Defense .357. It's not too bad. I did however change the front sight.

I use one occasionally when in a hurry if I haven't put many rounds through a rifle. It is not as good as a regular cleaning. When the bore snake gets dirty, you just wash it out with detergent and water.

I occasionally carry a 1911 Colt Defender. At just 25 ozs, it's not an especially heavy 1911. I also carry it in a Kydex holster and have been very satisfied with it.

I was just kidding about that, last time I went to Columbia, I slept in the truck 2 days before they called my name.

I live in Columbia, and they haven't had long waits when I go there. Go on Tues. Wed. or Thur.

The last 3 handguns I purchased were a Kimber Micro 9, Sig P365, and a Sig P238 Legion.

I pray for Gods peace and comfort after your loss.

I also have both, and agree. Big difference in accuracy and distance and the damage to flesh if you hunt. But for putting holes in paper, stick with .22lr.

I have a Ruger American .22 mag, and Winchester 40gr SuperX hollow points has performed better than CCI 40 gr. hollow points. I just received some Armscor 40 gr hollow points I am going to try. I don't expect the results to be near the Winchester rounds, but for the much lower price maybe it will work out. After your results with Federal 3o gr, maybe that's where I should have gone. I was just sticking with 40 gr.

Has anyone used 2a warehouse in the past for ammo. I have not found any reviews for them, but maybe I didn't look hard enough. I got burned once for ordering what looked like a good deal, when my order didn't arrive as promised, I found they had lots of bad reviews. So I try to be a little more careful now.

I've shot three in my yard just this year, and seen many dead ones on the road. They are terrible for digging holes in my yard looking for grubs.
-
That is a good deal, I wish they were offering a 40 gr. 22wmr. I seem to do better with a 40 gr. with my rifle.

I go to Charlie Haffner Gun Range and really enjoy it. Membership is $90.00 a year, the down side is, it is $90.00 anytime time of the year you join and due again on Jan. 1st.

Google it on youtube. Quite a few videos of hog hunting with pellet rifles, just not your typical Walmart pellet rifles.

I had one and never had any kind of issues with, but I found that I never carried it because for a subcompact, 27 ozs. is heavy. But it was a great gun.

I had a Ruger Redhawk .41 mag. with a scope. I sold it about 12 years ago and have regretted ever since.

I got the 12 ga. shockwave about a year and a half ago. It is fun to shoot, but it does have a respectable recoil with 2 3/4" shells. Forget the 3" shells. I have never tried the mini shells but they would have much less recoil, but they are expensive. I just stick with the cheap 2 3/4" shells and blast away. Have fun with it.

I would think soaking wood in hot water could possibly change the way it would fit after it dried. I've had hard wood floors get wet and swell and never go back to fit correctly.

Welcome, from Columbia. As a young man living in Chattanooga about 50 years ago, we would go trout fishing at a Gee Creek up at Tellico. Is the range at the same Gee Creek?
