That factory gunk gets everywhere, still TN Cartridge isnt the best to break it in. That ammo is pretty damn horrible. MCSC sells it an Ive had short strokes, squibs, FTEs, FTFs, stove pipes and vastly differing OAL or weak powder charges EVERY time I use that stuff. Most likely it is slightly too long and being shoved into the lands of the barrels. Or not enough powder charge. I know that issue too well and it happened using that crap ammo. That sucks to hear man mine has ran like a champ. What ammo as you using? The chamber is pretty tight and I had to redo the seating of my SWCs and even hard ball loads to get them to fit. I did polish up the feedramps even more so than what they were, did a full strip of the FCG and extractor as well as lube the hell out of the places the slide contacts with the frame. The arguement was that some prosecutor could try to argue you wanted to kill someone (or a similiar asinine assertion) by carrying hand loads. That is a load of crap. You can use that arguement for the use of lights, optics, night sights, compensators and what have you. End of the day is if you are confident in your reloads and they offer the best performance in your EDC then carry them. However being that you dont reload just carry some premium HD ammo. I dont care about advanced statistics and data - a .22LR will put someone down with good shot placement. Best performance would be from a 67gr or 69gr bullet. But honestly for short range (under 100m) ive used 55gr .223, XM193 and XM855 and they have perform very well. Granted that was against bottles and bowling pins at 25 and 50yds with the 55grs. I noticed some keyholes past 100. 62s did just fine. Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk

Depends on the twist rate too. With those shorty barrels if it is a 1:7 youll want a slightly heavier bullet around the 60s to prevent it from keyholing - which is possible in close range. If you just want massive trauma in that range and dont care for pinpoint accuracy then some lower 40/50gr frangies or bonded will do fine. Shot 5K from a 240B for a MG Ldrs Course to burn ammo - but holding a 249 is much sexier than shooting a 240 on a T&E Ill let you know if I run into more parts. Pretty much they gotcha for more expensive remanufactured rounds. The same company that owns them owns XTreme Bullets - so their "regular" stuff is xtreme bullets loaded into range brass they get on their brass trade in program. Hope it doesnt give you a buttload of FTFs and squibs like it did me. On of my FB friends had a family member of his get his hand blown up but a FM .40...granted thats what he gets for shooting 40, but if they make Jihadi 40 theyll make Jihadi anything lol. Provided it does not fall through the trade I got lined up for my AR Pistol is for the R1 Enhanced with 4 mags, a bucket of ammo and some holsters and more grips than you can shake another 1911 at. Besides the question of am I getting a good deal...anyone have any experience with these? Ive read pretty much rave reviews online, but some gun rag reporter playing with a T&E gun a few years ago is one thing. Anyone have any input on it at all? Does it not like certain ammo? Particular quirks of the brand? This will be my 2nd 1911 but first gun that isnt a Glock or Ruger, so I dont know anything about Remington other than they make bolt actions and shottys. Had the pleasure to meet with a bunch of people from TGO over the last few weeks and chat it up a bit. ARO Matt met me at the steel range at MCSC a few weeks ago and let me shoot that sexy Infinity 10mm 1911 he had, and helped me out with my pistol shooting. Last night Omega had me up in Palmyra and broke my deer dressing cherry - showed me how to skin, gut and quarter up a deer. See, I can get along with people who shoot .40. I didnt jack to it up TOO bad - the wife wasnt amused with me throwing a heart at her. Met with whiterx in Clarksville to swap some brass - he also drives a diesel F250 so he is a gentleman and a scholar just for that lol. Swapped a Mosin Stock for some deer sausage in Nashville with 10 Ring and chatted a bit. That sausage is amazing, definitely going to recreate it. Klamb5 also drove there to meet me and swapped his G31 for my G26 - now I have two full sized nuclear powered Glocks in 357SIG and 10mm. And Gjohnsoniv drove up from Memphis to deliver me a beautiful hand made IWB holster for my G32 and molded one out for the G31. Stellar craftsmanship, shut up and give him your money! My wifes grandmother stores the meat in a can full of vinegar and salt for a day, then the next day in ice water. Puts it in a pressure cooker (going to have to get actual time/temp) and cans them with pork fat. Tastes pretty damn good. Ill see if I can call for the exact process.
