Look up military arms channel on youtube, he tested them with a chronograph. IIRC 16" barrel was 2300-2400 fps, Draco was above 2000 fps, and the mini was just under 2000 fps. Don't remember the exact numbers.

2nd gen 19, don't like the finger grooves on the 19/23 size. But I will point out that while the 26/27 isn't that much smaller than the 19/23, it does fit better than my 19 and I can shoot it more accurately than my 19. I have heard this from others as well.

So where does one go to get fingerprints done? I am in Coffee County, called the Sheriff he wasnt there today so I talked his secretary I guess. She said he would sign but said they dont do the fingerprints. Called the outpost and they said they didnt know, but in Franklin and Rutherford counties the Sheriff Dept. does it.

I may have to go to the gun show tomorrow and look for one. Every time I look at this thread I want to get one.

Thanks for all the help, but I have decided to get a Draco and have it SBR'd first. May revisit the AR at a later date.

Chamber and bore on the sport is finished in melonite and has 5R rifling vs the standard 6R rifling in others. But both barrels appear to be of the same material

Really liking this rifle, but just wondering what would be the next step up from this rifle? and Other than the forward assist and dust cover, what about it makes it a better rifle? Had one of the CavArms AR's for a few months and have fired a couple of other ARs, but that is all my experience with them.

This really makes no sense. So they will air TV shows and movies with guns in them but some fighter can't have a name of a gun company or store on his clothing. I watch UFC from time to time and I couldn't tell you any of the sponsors.

307 decapper worked out great

Thought I would try my luck with reloading some. I have reloaded pistol calibers before but this is my first rifle caliber. Bought some Lee dies, came with two decappers 307 and 310, but they actually measure .308-.3085 and .3105-.311 bullets I have measure .310-.3105, so they are way to loose with the 310 decapper, can't feel the bullet pressing into the case at all. Once they get to the cannelure it is extremely loose, you can pull the bullet back and forth 20-30 thousandths. So I guess I will try the 307 decapper and see how that goes. Anybody else experience this?

It's BS, really. I'm sure it has been posted here before, I've seen it many times. If you pay attention you can see the the "bad guys" know who the "good guy" is everytime and take aim at him first thing. Plus they put very inexperienced people in there as the good guys and very experienced people for bad guys. Try that same test with some one that has actually handled a gun before and dont tell the badguys who has a gun

A lot of imports don't have schrader valve to check fuel pressure. You would need an adapter to tie into the fuel line. I think most cars need around 20psi to get them to even try to run. So you can have fuel but without checking the pressure you wont know if it's enough. While it is a completely different vehicle and in no way means thats whats wrong with your Civic, but my Explorer did the same thing you describe and it was the fuel pump.

I am a member of the Damn Locals so I ride in Tracy City a lot, Golden Mountain Park, Estill Fork/Iron Gap, and Hale Mountain. Going to try to get up to Harlan in the spring.

I am thinking of getting one to and have been doing some reading on these lately. From what I am seeing the barrel needs to be shortened to about 18" and the long flash hider needs to be replaced with a shorter PKM style flash hider to increase accuracy. Also handguard fit and gas tube fit can affect accuracy just like any other AK. Also crap ammo will net crap accuracy.
