  1. I havent yet, but will as soon as I get a mold. I'm in on a group buy for a 75gr mold from ACE. Looks like it will be a month or so before it goes out. From what I have been reading the faster twists can be to much for lead. I have seen reports of the nose twisting off the NOE 70gr bullet in a 1/7 twist. There are a lot of people that shoot lead thru ARs in 223, dont know that anyone on here does
  2. This thread makes me wish I had the Savage 10fp out of layaway.
  3. http://thesurvivalsummit.com/   I missed yesterdays videos but have watched a couple from today. Pretty good stuff.
  4. If you plan on keeping the die set you have now then just buy this seating die instead of whole new set.   http://www.midwayusa.com/product/188270/rcbs-seater-die-223-remington
  5. I dont think you are going to find a die set that comes with the rifle charging die, because I am pretty sure they dont offer the rifle charging die in a die set. Here is a die set that the seating die applies a roll crimp  http://www.midwayusa.com/product/440144/hornady-custom-grade-new-dimension-2-die-set-223-remington  then all you need is the rifle charging die. I am not seeing any of the lee dies say that it applies a crimp in any of the 223 dies. I have Lee 223 dies and the seater will not apply a crimp.
  6. Your bullet seating die in the pacesetter set should crimp. Did it come with instructions? It will tell you if it does or not. If it does all you need is the charging die that No_0ne posted in post #7 and just not use the factory crimp die
  7. No, atleast the guy I talked to wasnt. I asked if he was on here, he said he is not. Nice guy though.
  8. I have only read the first book, after seeing the movie, and I think Reacher would have just shot the guy. I didnt really like Tom Cruise as Reacher, not sure who it should have been. Just not Cruise. But Duvall was good
  9. I will be going. Seems like a pretty good show, but I havent been to many. Hopefully David has some pistol powder. Try to pick up some 30-30 dies to.
  10. Yeah, thats what I'm seeing. So I will likely end up with something older, cause I'm to cheap.lol
  11. What I am seeing online says its a Mossberg 472. Has Western Auto Supply Co. on the barrel.   WM didnt have any 30-30 in stock and the LGS wanted $28/box. Thats the reason I haven't shot it, I couldnt bring myself to pay $1.50/rd, lol. So I will be reloading for it.
  12. Picked this up for $200, Revelation 205 30-30. I am really liking this thing, I can see this may lead to more lever guns and I havent even shot it yet.
  13. Good deal. I have been looking at these lately to.
  14. If I were interested in a 380, I would give this gun a good look. And I would likely choose it over the others due to the trigger even though its a little bigger and heavier. I am very disappointed, but not surprised, that the 42 turned out to be a 380 instead of a 9mm. Hopefully a 9mm will follow this one.
  15. From this video sounds like he did this for 170 school days   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KYpLgdzp64A
  16. I have been eyeing one at the LGS. Nice rifle.
  17. Yeah, I hate it when people do that. But I do like Madison Rising's rendition
  18. I think it came with a light, night sights, and 3 mags. Plus it said homeland defender on the slide. Pretty much it.
  19. I will be asleep when the new year comes rolling in and work tomorrow. But I am considering hitting the range before work, just so I can start the new year off right.lol
  20. Yep, I even shoot my own powdercoated cast bullets in the factory Glock barrels. All of mine are 9mm, never have reloaded 40.
  21. Well I didnt read the whole thing, but that article pretty much sums up why games arent played on paper. According to them Georgia and Alabama should have beat Auburn, but they didn't. At the very least, this will likely be the toughest game FSU has played all season. I wont be surprised if FSU wins, but I think they are going to have to fight for it.
