  1. If you want the aperture sights it looks like they came with Lyman No. 48. Found several possibilities on Flea Bay. Looks like you will need the front sight block too. My recommendation is to call Champions Choice over in La Vergne and tell them what you're looking for. They've taken a lot of my money over the years! (615) 793-4066
  2. I wonder if there's a good story about the holes in the fender?
  3. Yes it is a Lincoln. The Greyhound ornament has the front legs stretched out like this. The Jaguar ornament has the front legs tucked like this.
  4. I always found sitting was easy as prone. I thought kneeling was the universally most disliked position. That is unless you were one of those thin build and extremely flexible types.
  5. You're not alone. Must mean most of us are just Muggles.
  6. Iron sights rock but the switch on the right is the real stick shift when it’s time to rock and roll !
  7. Never really thought about it but a quick search shows the fringe on a trappers coat may have come from Native American clothing as an aide to wick moister away. Kind of seems logical.
  8. I'm always too busy in the Spring to hunt Turkey or at least that's my story and I'm sticking to it. There's been talk of an albino turkey in my neck of the woods and on the way into work this morning (working from home is not an option for me during this time) I got a glimpse of it. I will do my best to get a photo and post.
  9. Good question and with some quick interwebz searching there seems to be some conflicting info though, imagine that. Best I can tell is @AuEagle may be correct as some Europeans refer to .410 as 36 gauge. This does not compute mathematically as .410 is without a doubt 67 guage. Some other gauges or bore size found mostly in European countries are 32 and 24 guage. Learn something new everyday.
  10. Have you checked your sound settings on your TV? I have a LG smart TV and one of the sound setting options is clear voice and it does make a difference.
  11. My vote is the TR3...but. Do I want one? YES Do I have discretionary money to buy? YES Do I need another? Depends on whether a drawer or 3 full of various knives including some TGO and other Protechs is enough. What's the economy and health situation going to be in a week, 6 months or year? IDK and neither does anyone else May be bad timing on this for now. Just my 2 worth on the subject.
  12. This is the only video I've ever watched of Dr. Mike but I think he nails the situation.

  17. Fairly certain this was Hoss Cartright when he was a toddler.
