How can it be an off the grid project when you just told the whole world?

Well crap, I thought I was the only lucky one here. I was all ready to enter a new post in the most I would ever spend on a gun!

Unlike the Hudson, the Brno has a hammer and a traditional trigger but the feature that is shared is the extra mass in the dust cover area or as Chucktshoes called it, chin. Both of these guns are said to have very little muzzle flip, torque or that they just shoot flat. That's all about the extra mass and what ever secrets are hidden inside them and the fact that all this lowers the bore axis so therefore they shoot flatter than someones ex wife's boobs. You should always shoot with both eyes open. Does not matter if it's a pistol, rifle, shotgun, bow or slingshot, both eyes open. If you are cross eye dominate there are two ways to work around it. The first of which most resist but is possible and seems to work best for younger newbies than old dogs is learn to shot with the weak hand. I have several stories of competitive shooters that I have worked with that swear they thought they would never learn to shoot as good with their weak hand to use their dominate eye and now are highly successful competitive shooters. The second option which most can easily adapt to and more than likely have actually kind of been doing anyway restrict the vision of the dominate eye. Most do this by closing the dominate eye however this is not recommended way of fixing this. The method that works best is to put some translucent tape on the shooting glasses covering the dominate eye so as to eliminate the eyes competing to acquire a sight picture. This works for static targets and moving targets but but handicaps trap and skeet shooters slightly only having one eye to find and lock on to the target. Of course there is a third option and that is do nothing and keep struggling with the cross eye dominance and you will occasionally hit the target.

I am fortunate to have enough property that I can walk out my back door and shoot anything from an air rifle to a .50 bmg just about any time of day I want. My second option is a 15 minute drive to a private range used by a very small group of people complete with steel targets. A regular shooting buddy and I felt the need to turn perfectly good ammunition into noise and hot smoking empty brass but the cold temperature for the last few days has been quite the deterent. If we were half or even a quarter of our current age we probably would not have given the cold weather a thought. So we decided to use option three today. Royal Range is about a 30 minute or less drive from where we live. Both of us have been there several times just to window shop or on an occasion walk out with an arm load of big boy toys or accoutrements. Neither of us had ever used their indoor range but we changed that today. We both had a great experience and really enjoyed their great facilities. I shot about 300 plus rounds of various calibers and as we were walking to our car I said that was awesome and I can still feel with my fingers and my ears and feet are not freezing. If the weather isn't suitable or there is not enough natural light left in the day to shoot outside and Royal Range is open, I will be going back. Royal Range

I'm really liking all the upgrades with the ongoing tweaking. Not really a big deal but something I just noticed and I only see it on my IPad. The search window overlaps the Leaderboard button.

Never drink and surf gunbroker, guns international and the like. The amount you spend may be quite the surprise when you check your emails the next day. Well at least that's been my experience anyway.

I've really liked all the changes until I logged on at home with my Ipad this evening. First thing I noticed like Obiwan is the smaller text and lots of unused white space. There may be a preference setting that maybe I should have checked before I commented.

During some competition last year I received a goodie bag that contained a bottle of Slip 2000 EWL (Extreme Weapons Lube). I used it a few times since it was there and it seemed to work fairly well and then by accident I came across this video recently. A dozen plus post and not the first mention to what maybe an excuse for multiple black rifles of which I may be guilty of. Since you asked though, the one gun that first came to mind for me would be Remington 1100's.

Like Tennessee the state of Alabama does not have any registration requirements on firearms. So I'm not sure what you mean by being registered unless this is an NFA firearm which I'm under the impression it is not. If your father is going to ship the pistol to you it will need to go through an FFL if he is going to travel with it to your home and give it to you in person I don't see where an FFL needs to be involved as long as both parties are legaly elidgeable to own it. I'm just giving my opinion and I'm not an expert on the subject this is my opinion and I'm sure someone else will come along and agree or refute this.
