What's going on right now is fools parting with their money. To me price gouging is when a person or company is taking advantage of a situation when people are suffering to make a profit. Like selling generators for double the normal price to a town that has just had a natural disaster. Nobody is suffering right now because they do not have a AR's, pmags and ammo. Most of the items that are selling are a hobby at best. You cant price gouge a hobby.

So if I take a gun to sell at the Goodman show, I will have to have a transfer done thru a FFL?
-
I would suggest that you find a way to try before you buy. I have a YHM mite and it sux!!!!! I had never "heard" one before I bought it. If I had I would put that money somewhere else. It is pretty crappy even with sub sonic ammo, and pretty much worthless when using anything else. I am glad I started small. I would be sick if I had $1000.00 in something I did not like and could not easily sell. Just my .02

Nice folks, but the location is semi hood.

It is a joke of a show. I would guess there is only 15 venders at best.

Buds has AR50's in stock.

Take your time, they pop up for sale locally from time to time. I have seen them for sale at local gunshows over the years. There was on on GOC around Christmas for 2200. There was one for sale on TGO a couple of years back. Post a WTB ad on here and GOC you may flush one out of the bushes.

I had a Bushnell 10x, we only got out to 400 yds.
-
I had one years ago. A friend of mine had a Barrett, side by side the Armalite is a better rifle hands down. It is what a 50 is suppose to be IMO. Bigger, heaver, less coin and just plain bad a##. They are expensive to own, everything about them is expensive. I do not regret selling mine, I do miss it from time to time. You will love it.

Not having any paperwork in the box would have thrown up a big red flag for me. I hope this works out, but it sounds like the manager is avoiding the problem. Another example of why I do most of my business online.

Certified Pre Owned or CPO for short It's a Sig that has been refurbished by Sig Sauer and resold. Some people love them others not so much. They are often a good value, but only have a 1 year warranty.
-
I have seen CPO's with the markings removed. Is the box red, or does the serial number on the box start with USD?
-
Your frame is made in Germany, and the slide is made here. If the 229 was German made the slide, barrel and frame would all have serial numbers the match. The slide would be stamped made in Germany. If it was German made it would also have the marks under the slide like JeffSig posted.

That sounds like the guy the call "Mikey" on GOC. He sent the same sort of email to me, it was "baptist" and "sexual" in nature. What ever u do do not respond. The guy is crazy and the emails will only get worse.

Good Show, big crowd. Might go back tomorrow and dig thru boxes for junk that I can't live without.

I have a Legend, I like it. People say it is not a true 210, but it works for me.

My grip is that if you are not telling me the history in the item description what else are you not telling me? I expect an item described as Factory New not to have a history. It's just as easy to include the actual history in the description, than choosing to leaving it out. Why leave it out? What else are you not telling me?
-
The backbone of online sales is full disclosure when describing your item IMO. I bought an item that was described as Factory New. Upon further conversation about said item the seller explains how the item was bought for/by someone else, mounted, taken off and reboxed. That is not my definition of Factory New, to me new means new. I am the orginial owner, I paid the price I paid based on a description that was given. What say you?
-
The are 220 that are all German parts but assembled in the USA. Get the serial number and call Sig. I would buy a CPO long before I would buy a display that has been pawed over by God knows who. CPO's have been back to Sig checked out, repaired if needed and have a one year warranty.

That is good to hear -
How much cash do you think they have tied up in inventory? I was in there a month or so ago, I bet it is in the millions.
-
Went there last night, man they need to get it together. That is all I have to say about that.
