  1. I have a Smith 15-22 pistol, it is a great shooter. I bought it the gunshow in Murfreesboro.
  2. Thanks Looks like it's 1911. WOW !
  3. If you think is smells bad go thru an FFL. Then you will not have to worry about it.
  4. It has 1903 stamped on the slide, I guess it is 1903. I really don't know. I ran one mag through it about 10 years ago, just hear it go BANG! It is in fair condition at best, it is by far the roughest gun I own.
  5. I have one in .380
  6. 1 doe 1 buck So far a good season, plan on hitting it hard the rest of the week.
  7. What kinda of safe did you have?
  8. CPO do not always come in a red box, if the serial number on the box starts with USDXXXXX it is a cpo. I learned that lesson with a 226 in a grey box. Either way great snag !!!
  9. My 15-22 pistol is 1/2 x 28.
  10. Friends Farm
  11. It looked a little stinky.
  12. I only have one (YHM mite) and will never have another, they are not cheap. And they are money you will never get back. You just can't take them down to the local gun show and dump them if you end up not liking what you have purchased. If I had it to do over I would not have laid down the cash until I "heard" what I was going to buy in action. Not what someone on a forum says about a suppressor, but actually got to use/ see it in person. They are called suppressors not silencers for a reason. I am glad that I did go small first, big is more expensive. I would hate to have $1000.00 in something that I would not be happy / stuck with, $500 is bad enough.
  13. Call the attorneys office that is holding the sale. Ask them what their terms are, in most cases they give you 24 hours to make payment. If that is the case you can bid til you win, then pay to have a title search done before you transfer funds. If something is not right back out. I would suggest you have an attorney ready to do a tiltle search in one day. It can be done, but you will need to have all the players in place and ready to go. The attorney holding the sale will not verify the title at the time of sale, if it is a true foreclosure. They are acting as a debt collector and will state this as they read the terms of the sale. They will read out loud everything they know about the title, but will not offer any kinda of verification. They will be selling the lein that is being foreclosed on and that is it. You will also be responsable for back taxes, and if it has a any Federal tax leins on it you will have to deal with that as well. If they require full payment on the spot, and some do. It is up to you to do all the homework in advance. Once you pay for the lein they are selling it is yours. Good or bad, you could be buying a second which would not be good.
  14. I have always understood that some gun manufactures requied dealers / shops to advertise new inventory at MSRP. AKA Sig Sauer, even Bud's has to email you the "Bud's price" on Sig's.
  15. Don't over look Armalite 50 BMG, more gun less coin.
  16. Mine is a Sig Sauer 226 Sport, the best shooter I have ever owned. Let's see yours !!!!
  17. That's just awful
  18. Why would you need a serial number to check for a recall? If a gun has been recalled then the serial number will be needed, but just to check if a recall has been issued why would the model number not work?
  19. Great Choice
  20. Great Report!
  21. I smell a TGO group buy !!!!!
  22. You can only mow as fast as your ground will let you. A high performance car can only go so fast over a speed bump. If your land is rough the fastest mower will mow slow. I have a Grasshopper 61" cut that I bought used from the local Grasshopper dealer, it had 1200 hours on it when I got it. It has 1330 on it now. It was a trade in from a landscapping company. I mow about 4 acres out of 10 and rotary cut the other 6 as needed. I spend a lot of money buying the cheaper Home Deopt, Lowes mowers. That were junk, and would beat me to death while mowing. Craig's List is full of commercial mowers, they are better built than that Big Box Store crap. I have had mine for 3 years and love it. Your local dealer will also have mowers traded in from there long time landscapping customers they have dealt with for years. In most cases the dealer has serviced these machines since new.
  23. Over the years my collection has grown and shrank depending on my intrest at the time. Sell this to buy that and so on. This got me thinking could I be happy with just one firearm. Basically any good quality firearm will do the job, 9mm, .357, 40 cal or 45acp. Most evryone has a favorite in their collection anyway. If you only had one you would know that firearm in and out, and most likely become a very skilled marksman with your one gun. Just from the fact that it would be the only gun you pratice with. You could sell your safes, only buy one kind of ammo. Fear of robbery would drop, no need for fire protection if you had just one. If something did happen, you could just buy one more. All your gun junk would shrink down to just one box, instead of an entire room. (which would thrill the wife). No need to go to gunshops or gunshows. You already have a gun. I spend way more time watching TV than I do shooting. And I only have 3 televisions, and two of them suck!!!
  24. Very nice collection!
