  1.   Copied from a Lucky Gunner's CMMG review.   There are other sites that mention it as well.  It doesn't always have to be done.     The magazines  are interesting for two reasons: they fit open-top AR-15 magazine pouches (I’d recommend carrying them top-up), and they have tabs on the back that can be sanded or filed to closely match the interior dimensions or your rifle’s magazine well. Five minutes with a file and a couple of trial fittings later, and the magazines were snug enough not to rattle, but weren’t too tight. Perfect.
  2. I agree, they look out of place on a rifle like that, but is the bipod connected to the rails?
  3.   I'd second that.  I haven't been there for a number of years but you can find trails that will suit your bike and experience level.  You should be okay on the mail loop trails.   Many of the side trails aren't suited for dual sport bikes so watch yourself.     http://www.landbetweenthelakes.com/turkey-bay-ohv.html
  4. More of this stuff is apt to happen because how many times now do we hear the phrase from DHS, "see something, say something".
  5. Bad luck for sure.   I'm guessing the NSA confiscated them...
  6. Dependent upon final pricing and FFL location I'd like:   1 Lower 1 Upper
  7. I have two questions, any chance there was foul play with his girlfriend and his death? Second, why in the world would someone choose the girlfriend over his son in a Will?
  8. Obama is not delusional, he only appears that way because his agenda is so different from most of us that it defies logic. Everything he does is for a reason. Take this move, the first thing that comes to mind is, give the NRA what they want, put the guards there. The next time a shooting still happens even with an officer there, he will say, "see we tried your idea, it didn't work, now we need to try my way". Just edited for an additional thought. What better way to start getting kids to get used to our ever increasingly move toward becoming a police state.
  9. Just great.. Sounds to me like someone set up the camp and weapons supplies so they could get "stolen“.
  10. Another fan of Michelin. Use them on all my families' cars and 4x4 SUV. I just haven't been pleased when I've tried other brands. On my current car I needed to replace my Michelins and went with another brand. Didn't like them so I took advantage of their 30 day guarantee and spent the extra money and went back to Michelins.
  11. I knew I liked Allen back in 2010 when I saw his speech linked below.   I was surprised though that he lost his reelection run in 2012. He may be too conservative for some folks.   I'd vote for him in a heartbeat.    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VP2p91dvm6M
  12. Nice setup Kahrman. Yep, DM Bullard makes fine holsters. I've had a Dual Carry for my FS M&P for several years and still like it.
  13. Has she checked out the Shield yet? If not, be sure to handle one before you make a decision. It feels great in the hand and is a smooth shooter.
  14. Sorry, my attempt at humor.   You closed your original post by saying "sometimes a blind squirrel finds a nut".
  15. You did good squirrel man. :)
  16. I haven't eaten there since they posted but they always stay busy so I don't think they care if we come or not.
  17. If you do come on down, be sure to leave the snow up there. Our biggest issue is ice. We get a little snow, it gets warm enough to melt during the day, then freezes overnight. It becomes a skating rink full of cars.
  18. Never seen one that stubborn. Do you think the filter is cross threaded?
  19. It appears it's off the new arrival page now. Dang....
  20. It's now showing out of stock when you go to the item page. The new arrival page still says in stock. Guess I missed the boat.
  21. I get good antenna pickup so I haven't paid for cable for 24 years but I do use Netflix and Amazon Prime.
  22. Oh, you can bet that wasn't by accident....
  23. Not sure if any of his statements were acting, but either way, funny.   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IqebEymqFS8   Text from the video.   In response to all of the questions: I had a hernia repair to fix residual tears from a previous surgery. I wish I could remember this but I was definitely out of it.  This was my fifth surgery within our six years of marriage and she's been by my side through all of it. In a previous surgery I suffered a severe complication and we didn't know if I'd ever function the same again. She is the love of my life. Glad everyone is enjoying the video
  24. Congrats! I hear 36 years is the "handgun" anniversary so get busy while you have the chance. :)
