1.   Ha.  I've never thought about that.  I'm not sure which hand he would use.
2.   It must be one of those blemished uppers.  :)      Seriously though my son would like one of those since he shoots rifles left handed.   He's caught in the middle on which hand he really is.   He shoots pistols and throws a ball for example with his right, but writes and shoots rifles with his left.
3. Glad they're holding to their promise.    Hopefully the voters in CO will remember to hold the remaining politicians involved in the original vote responsible for their actions.
4. I wasn't aware that a Supreme Court Justice can act individually.   I know the article mentioned that her action was joined by a U.S. Court of Appeals but my confusion over Sotomayor's singular action still stands.
5. I've got an Aimpoint on one of my AR but that's higher than your price range.   One option that I've heard good things about is the Vortex Strikefire and it's well below your limit.   Several folks on TGO have them and have said they are a great value.     Here's an example.   Says it also comes with a 2x doubler.   The AR version also comes with a mount.   http://www.cabelas.com/product/Vortex-StrikeFire-Red-Green-Dot-Scope/753526.uts?productVariantId=2798347&WT.tsrc=CSE&WT.mc_id=GoogleProductAds&WT.z_mc_id1=753526&rid=40&channel=GoogleBaseUSA&mr:trackingCode=169D9052-F5D2-DF11-82EF-001B21631C34&mr:referralID=NA&mr:device=c&mr:adType=pla&mr:ad=30640536311&mr:keyword&mr:match&mr:filter=47538480505&gclid=CM3epp63vLsCFU5o7AodgwMAzw&gclsrc=aw.ds
6. What's your price limit?
7. This one maybe?   By Jeff at Hero Gear.   http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/52134-i-had-to-show-off-my-new-hero-1911/?hl=1911
8. I'd take up Dustbuster's offer in post # 3 to check it out for you.
9. You guys do some fine work.
10. Being that we have some medical folks in our family, they sometimes have codes at the hospital, such as code blue etc. I started a code for our house for times you get caught on the toilet and no one restocked and left a backup roll. The code we call out is code white... Seriously though, codes can help you get out of a crappy situation. :)
11. Now that would be some true reality TV...or more appropriately, it would be a documentary series.
12. Sorry to hear about your loss. Pets truly become one of the family and losing one is heart breaking.
13. Man...that M4 looks awesome.
14. If it was me, I would go with a replacement barrel in order to preserve the original so that you can go back to the long barrel if you change your mind. That is unless you have no sentimental ties to the rifle and keeping it original.
15. Double post
16. The TGO CMT build (lower, upper, BCG) is my first build and I've chosen the quality parts I wanted so it's ended up being a pretty steep tab. It'll likely be one that I'll always keep though. The big advantage for me is I've been able to learn how all the parts go together and function so I know this gun inside and out.
17. I'm just guessing but it probably has some merits. In the long run doesn't it all come back to the fact that your calorie intake has to be less than or equal to your burn rate in order not to gain weight?
18. Why does Tapatalk eat people's spelling?
19. Cool. So what's the recipe to make Twinkies look like?
20. Both my wife and I got the same call this morning. So do they have Verizon's phone number list or is it just chance that they will hit a Verizon customer based on the large number of customers they have?
21. Now this is what I call a chainsaw.
22.   I agree.   It's a nice looking rifle.     Gregintenn, how do you like that MI forearm?    Does it feel "solid" without any flex?
23.   What's the details on that scope?  :)
24. Thanks guys!  I'm thinking this is the first time there has been a 100% agreement in opinions on a question.   :)   I'm going to go with the rifle length.
25. I need some opinions on the direction I should go on my TGO build. In summary I'm trying to decide if I want to stick with my mid length forearm that I already have or go with the rifle length which is 3.3" longer than the mid length. The specifics on the rifle are: Daniel Defense 18" S2W barrel with mid length gas Yankee Hill SLR free float forearm Since I already have the mid length forearm, I mocked up how the front end would look. Nothing is bolted up at the moment but the forearm is in the correct position with the gas block. Right now the forearm just barely covers where the gas tube enters the gas block. http:// On the second picture you will have to use your imagination and disregard the big void between the upper and the forearm. My main reason in showing this view is to see what it would look like with the gas block covered and the area between the forearm and the end of the barrel. http:// I can send back and swap for the rifle length forearm but the difference in the part and the return/shipping would end up being about $40-$45. While the extra cost isn't the final decision maker, it is of consideration. If it makes any difference in your opinion, I plan on putting a scope on it for optics. If it was your rifle, would you go with the mid or rifle length forearm?
