  1.   Here's an example.   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sztgD0v67fc   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UvKBPr71dhA
  2. Do you ever listen to Loreena McKennitt? I have quite a number of her CD`s.
  3. In my experience at the company I work for, the union ends up punishing the best workers and protects the crappy workers. I've seen untold times that the company would like to reward good workers by giving them more pay or some special perk but can't due to the union. The good worker has to be treated just like the crappy worker. It takes away all the incentive to work harder and excel. This country wasn't built on socialism and to me unions promote socialistic thinking.
  4. Funny that kids will do the same thing over one toy.
  5. We haven't had near as many this year compared to years past. Two summers ago we were covered up, less last summer and even less this year.
  6. All that has to happen is send uncle Joe and his double barrel shotgun. Let him fire off a couple of warning shots in the air and problem solved.
  7. After TMF's thread on the neglected dog rescue I had to go watch these again to make me smile.       http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WK6MkxA0isw     http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wkXDGp-2im4
  8. Ted, Very sad for sure. You may have not understood my post you quoted. My question centered around what laws would be broken by not returning the dog to its undeserving owner?
  9. I'm not saying you guys aren't right on the legal aspect, but please site what laws would be broken for my own knowledge sake. Would it be considered theft of property?
  10. Not sure that "Wax for Brains" is the right exhibit name....
  11. So were they aware you had the dog, or was it a case of mistaken identity and you had a different dog? :)
  12. Can't we discuss something more simple in nature, say chemical weapons in Syria?      Can you tell by the ad how long the dog has been missing?   Is it possible it's been missing long enough to have gotten into its current condition while missing?  I'm assuming by your description that it's not possible.   If the answer is no way possible, I'd likely try to find the dog a new home if it was me.
  13. Met with Terry today to get some honey as well. Super nice guy. He schooled me on bees and it was very interesting stuff I didn't know. Very cool creatures.
  14. I agree with the others, put it up here first.   I'd want some assuming it's a fair price.     If we don't buy it all, you can check with these folks.   I've bought local honey from them before. http://www.greendoorgourmet.com/
  15. Crazy to say the least and lucky is putting it mildly.
  16. Thanks for the recipe. Where do you find 100% lanolin?
  17.   Now that's saying something.   I'd just about forgot ole Basil....almost.   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uAHs0r2m3ho
  18. You forgot to end by saying, "Peace out"....:)   Ditto on what Peace said.
  19. What...no video? It's SOP to video. Be sure to get footage of your next adventure.
  20. There's a 9mm Shield and accessories in the ad section in case you missed it.
  21.   Yep.  Maybe Jesse is planning on bidding since he's the master of the pimp.
  22. If I'm reading between the lines correctly it sounds like you aren't adjusting the decapping pin separately from the die. Mark A mentioned this earlier. Basically you need to set the die base against the shell holder with the right amount of cam over. THEN screw the decapping pin in or out just enough to pop the primer out. These are two separate adjustments. Not saying that RCBS can't mess up but they are better quality than my Lee dies.
  23. Based on you just wanting to buy one gun, let me throw out another less expensive option than buying a FS and using the compact for EDC.     Get the X-Grip mag extensions for the compact, which turns it into the FS capacity and use it for your house gun.  Buy the Shield for your EDC.   If you find yourself wanting a little more capacity than the Shield at times, use the compact with the normal compact mags.
  24. I'll take a stab.     Two family member have the Shield, one in 9 and one in 40.   If you already have the Compact and are comfortable with it, I probably wouldn't get the Shield unless funds aren't an issue.  If money isn't a problem then I would say sure get the Shield.  The Shield is thinner and shorter in length but not by a large amount.  I think the height is about the same with the extended mag on the Shield.   The Shield is not really a pocket gun for me unless I've got on cargo shorts for example.      Both calibers in the Shield are fine shooters and handle well for a small carry gun.     Regarding your grip question, you can't really compare it in size to the full size due to the width.
