Amen to that. PEOPLE SLEEP PEACEFULLY IN THEIR BEDS AT NIGHT BECAUSE ROUGH MEN STAND READY TO DO VIOLENCE ON THEIR BEHALF.

For going to the range and shooting holes in paper 22 is plenty good. If you want to varmint hunt 22mag is way better at that. If you want something different look into 5mm Remington, its a necked down 22mag, much more accurate than 22mag. Don't know if anyone makes a rifle chambered for it any more.

Yes it is

All good guns, get what you shoot best at this point and practice with it, get a good holster. Maybe do some IDPA shoots. My first pistol was a Colt 1911, carried it for two years before it got too heavy. Got to be motivated!

My wife was on the front porch yesterday evening, around 6:30 saw a coyote trotting down the street. We're currently living in a subdevelopment in West Knoxville off of Ebenezer. I was surprised, rascals are spreading I guess.

Just got some Tripp Cobra mags, they have a molded in metal piece as part of the follower should lock the slide back without wearing out. So far reliable not a lot of rounds through them yet. Well made -

Is Fiebing's a good leather dye for holsters?
aknifemaker replied to jgradyc's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
Use fiebling's all the time, good die does not bleed out. Wear gloves when dying keep from dying hands. Just make sure the leather is clean (no glue or grease) or it will come out splotchy. -
Source for blade steel in Knoxville/east TN?
aknifemaker replied to Under-No-Pretext's topic in Knives, Lights, EDC Gear
Try Admiral Steel good price and selection. For a 3" x 72" piece the shipping is reasonable and its enough for a bunch of knives. Jersey Baron is good also, met him several times at the New York Knife Show which is held in New Jersey now since New York City started arresting people leaving the show with knives several years ago, got to love that. -
Have stopped in that Weigles last time we were in Tennessee got gas coffee and snacks for the trip home (coffee was good) Will try TN forestry, thanks to all for the replys

Have a Valor and a Guardian, great looking guns in an understated way. Both are real good shooters too. How many rounds through the ECO?

We've considered renting first also, like you say get a better feel for the area, have to see how it all works out.

Guess I'll have a lot of places to hunt, was wondering about that. Yeah we're looking on Zillow and other sites for homes, just seems like it would be easier to have a representative looking for us also, coming from 800 miles away they can help set some viewings up. I've also bought and sold a couple of homes myself, not that big a deal. The adventure begins.
