  1. Ethanol and any internal combustion engine don't mix well. Add some sea foam, or other additive to the gas might be moisture also. Should always use fuel stabilizer before storing the bike.
  2. Nothing like riding back home in a snow storm young, dumb and full of c**m
  3. Just watched a review on the Fieldcraft channel, interesting concept.
  4. Well can't blame the cops too much, as the neighbor totally lied about the situation. At least they gave use a chance to surrender peaceably
  5. New York Story: Three of us are going to the range to do some shooting, pick first guy up no problem pull into last guys driveway we're loading guns and stuff into my truck. Four, that's 4 cruisers pull up, 6 cops get out with guns drawn. We're on the ground cuffed and my truck is being ransacked. One of the neighbors called the police evidently. My buddys wife sees this and calls her brother who happens to be a sargent he hauls ass over, saved our bacon for sure. All our weapons were legit nothing illegal, being transported in the proper NY way, cops left told us to be more carefull not a word of apology. That is one of the many reasons we now live in free America.
  6. Nothing broken we were satisfied. Pretty simple move for them lots of boxes and some furniture. I actually moved all my stuff and machinery myself, right into the basement.
  7. We used 2 Men & a Truck on our move from Knox to Maryville, they did a good job, fairly priced I thought, they charge by the hour.
  8. We moved to Tn from NY back in 2019 and I rented a uhaul for the move. Had some friends help and hired a couple of guys from my job to load, and hired two guys (so I thought) off uhaul.com to unload in Knoxville. The cost was $300 for 2 hours. Since it took us all day to load the truck I asked this fellow, Rick was his name, if they would stay as long as needed to unload he said yes but assured me it wouldn't be necessary. In the morning a suburban pulls up in front of the house, and Rick and his 8 kids get out (boys and girls)! They were done in an hour it was amazing to watch!! Polite fast and efficient. I called him again last year to move us into our new home but he has a restaurant down in Polk county now, Jessica's Place and not doing that anymore. What can I say, Tennessee is GREAT!
  9. Yesterday was a nice day, we took the bikes out, $3.70 for hi-test WTF!!
  10. There's Chilhowee Sportsman's Club also, they have an outdoor pistol range not sure if you can shoot steel plates. Welcome to Tennessee
  11. We used to go ice racing on Lake George in upstate NY, they had a portion of the lake plowed into an oval it was a blast!!
  12. Cross at the green not in between!
  13. I have CMR30 and was also cursing it when I bought it, improperly loaded magazines seem to be the issue. I got a loader (maglula) and it works fine now. The rims overlap and doesn't let it feed properly. I'm in Maryville so a little far to let you try the loader. I know with the cost of ammo these days don't need to be wasting it or your time.
  14. LOL wanted to sleep in a bit today but my girl had the same idea as yours. Hopefully you have a great dog and a friend for life. This is Olivia.
  15. Merry Christmas to all and a safe and happy New Year
  16. rural king had some 9mm 115g for $19.99/50, off brand but worked fine for target use.
  17. maybe he has a wooden leg
  18. Thanks for the info, I have a 12ga that does the same duty,
  19. My thanks to all who served this country.
  20. Anyone have any experience with this rifle? Been thinking about getting one to repel invaders.
  21. Holster from R. Grizzle, he makes a really nice product. This is a picture from when I bought it two years ago but it still looks like new and works perfectly, its my daily carry. Has a sweat shield.
  22. When I was a kid in shop class we were given rough cut pieces of steel 1 inch oversize. With a file and a square we had to make a 1" cube all sides being square to each other, that was our finals test. Its amazing what you can do by hand with a little ingenuity.
  23. The National Park Rangers are advising hikers in Glacier National Park and other Rocky Mountain parks to be alert for bears and take extra precautions to avoid an encounter. They advise park visitors to wear little bells on their clothes so they make noise when hiking. The bell noise allows bears to hear them coming from a distance and not be startled by a hiker accidentally sneaking up on them. This might cause a bear to charge. Visitors should also carry a pepper spray can just in case a bear is encountered. Spraying the pepper into the air will irritate the bear's sensitive nose and it will run away. It is also a good idea to keep an eye out for fresh bear scat so you have an idea if bears are in the area. People should be able to recognize the difference between black bear and grizzly bear scat. Black bear droppings are smaller and often contain berries, leaves, and possibly bits of fur. Grizzly bear droppings tend to contain small bells and smell of pepper.
