  15. Have had my eyes on a early build (late 50s/early 60s) Colt Coltsman in 30-06. I've never seen one in the wild before and I really think i need to personally domesticate this one. Somebody please educate me to not spend the $800 on this just because I've never seen any but the Sauer-built ones. Me and my dang wandering eyes.. I wanna touch all the unicorns. Anybody have any idea or experience with these rifles?
  16. Was a great time. Was able to get the same hunt donated to our Nashville RMEF chapter as well that will be raffled/auctioned off on September 8th at our banquet.
  17. I totally would share if i could figure out how to do it. My photobucket account is worthless without paying a fee lol.
  18. My wife and I along with my childhood best friend and his wife recently returned from a 7 day Safari in Limpopo Province and all I can say is WoW! Purchased the hunt from a Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation auction and was questioning whether we'd go or not but glad we did. Ended up setting up a stalk on a black impala that gave us the slip and.lead to me harvesting the Animal we were initially looking for, a nyala. Next morning I shot a wide impala off a water hole. 3rd.morning my wife was up and smacked a Sable at first light. Was her first bow kill. Our outfitter was fanfastic and the lodging and accommodations were spectacular. The food was bottom line some of the best wild game I have ever tasted in my life. If anybody has ever thought about a Safari, I strongly recommend doing one. You will not regret it.

  20. Beginning to plan for the upcoming Music City Chapter Elk Foundation Banquet. We had a nice event at The Barn at Sycamore Farms last year in Arrington, but have decided to host this year's at the Nashville Gun Club. As usual, we will have a nice catered meal with games, raffles and auctions (live and silent) Some of the highlights of this year will include. *Selling of chances to win a Hunt for two during the rut with a rifle in the Bob Marshall Wilderness area of Montana. Real Back Country Montana Hunting with a horse pack in and camping in wall tents. High success rate! We will have two of these hunts available. Will be $100/chance and there will be 400 tickets (200 each hunt). These will go on sale via QR code at our banquet. ***African trip with GP Footprint (Gerhard Pretorius). 7 day hunt including a night hunt for 4 hunters. Hunt includes all accomodations and a Baboon and Jackal per hunter (8 animals possible) with the opportunity to upgrade to any animal. You are responsible for airline travel to/from Polokwane, South Africa with pickup/drop off at airport by outfitter. This hunt will be live auctioned at our banquet. PBR trip for two to Las Vegas with tickets to all performances, 4 nights accomodations, travel to/from performances from hotel. This will be an early November trip. $50/chance (Only 100 will be sold) We will also have a hefty gun package to raffle off. Numerous AR-15s, Weatherby Vanguards as well as Springfield XDs, and the 2022 RMEF Gun of the Year , a Kimber 1911 in 10mm. I will update as we gather more and more info. If interested in joining us for the night, sign up for a membership or just volunteering to help the night of the banquet, all participants are welcome!
  21. I've got a 450 Bushmaster I built on a Bushmaster lower. Also built one for my step-brother. Both of us love them. Both are 16". Alot more economical to shoot than a 458 (If you can find 458 ammo)
  22. My only problem has been on the 450 Bushmasters their gas ports are way undersized. My 7.62x39, 308, and 6.5 Creedmoors all ran as intended. Ugly they are, work they do. Then again, im not quite the perfectionalist as Rob is. Cheaper is Cheaper.
