  1. When I was a kid, I remember pretty much everyone knowing whether they were black or white, an without fail, they all knew their gender as well. I'm starting to believe the movie "Idiocracy" is more a documentary than entertainment.
  2. We are going to want a peek at this when you get it!
  3. As you said, the CZ is a totally different pistol from the Tokarev. I was only referring to the CZ52.
  4. With the ones I've had, it's about a 50/50 shot as to whether you get a click or a bang when activating the decocker lever.
  5. My father has a model 52. It looks like a 39, but that's where the similarities end. That thing is the definition of a high quality pistol!
  6. That sucks. I've a 39, but no double stacks. I like the old Smith autos.
  7. I would add a model 17 or preferably 18 to your list. My 18 is among my favorite to shoot. I have a 19 too. I consider it to be the perfect all around revolver.
  8. Welcome to Tennessee, and to the forum here.
  9. I have a 29 that is a bit nicer than that one, or else I'd still have it. I really like the big ole N frames.
  10. No, I don't. Traded it for cash plus a cherry 32-20 Smith and Wesson. Never saw one this nice before. The few you see are usually very well worn.
  11. I haven't added a Smith and Wesson to my collection for quite some time, but recently, I ran across three different ones I just couldn't pass up. top: model 38 no dash middle: pre 34 kit gun bottom: 14-3 (came with box and papers)
  12. If you want to see what a good small town gun show should look like, head up I 65 to Cave City!!! I wish we could have one like it in the Nashville area. With RK and Goodman trying to knock each other out, they've both lost me as a customer.
  13. Any word on this yet?
  14. I'm surprised that got past qc.
  15. Guilty as charged!
  16. Unless the exhaust pipe terminated inside the cab, I can't see how this story is accurate. In fact, I didn't find but one story on Scott Pelly's broadcast tonight believable; the one where they transferred a panda from a zoo to somewhere else. I honestly don't know whether to believe it either, but it was the most believable if you consider each one logically.
  17. An A1 would be a Remington Rand.
  18. Remington Rand? Were it marked Remington UMC, it would be of WW1 vintage, and worth a fortune.
  19. Is the bore as slick as the outside?
  20. Why can't Chuck Schumer try to stop a train with his face?
  21. I don't have a favorite gun, but this struck me as funny. Last winter, my family stopped in at a Cabela's store for something. My two sons were looking around at the ammo shelf. They seemed quite surprised to find there was ammo for sale that fit their deer rifles.....257 Roberts. They also seemed shocked at the price....$2 plus a pop! I'd never thought about it, but until that time, they weren't aware factory ammunition was available for their rifles. Every round they've ever shot, they'd loaded themselves. It's funny what you take for granted kids know, that they actually don't know.
  22. I didn't see it. I was hoping someone here knew for sure. I'd damn sure rather mail it in.
