Unless the exhaust pipe terminated inside the cab, I can't see how this story is accurate. In fact, I didn't find but one story on Scott Pelly's broadcast tonight believable; the one where they transferred a panda from a zoo to somewhere else. I honestly don't know whether to believe it either, but it was the most believable if you consider each one logically.

An A1 would be a Remington Rand.
-
Remington Rand? Were it marked Remington UMC, it would be of WW1 vintage, and worth a fortune.

Is the bore as slick as the outside?

Why can't Chuck Schumer try to stop a train with his face?

I don't have a favorite gun, but this struck me as funny. Last winter, my family stopped in at a Cabela's store for something. My two sons were looking around at the ammo shelf. They seemed quite surprised to find there was ammo for sale that fit their deer rifles.....257 Roberts. They also seemed shocked at the price....$2 plus a pop! I'd never thought about it, but until that time, they weren't aware factory ammunition was available for their rifles. Every round they've ever shot, they'd loaded themselves. It's funny what you take for granted kids know, that they actually don't know.

I didn't see it. I was hoping someone here knew for sure. I'd damn sure rather mail it in.

Reading the renewal notification I got today, it appears one can't get a lifetime permit via mail, but has to go do it at the DMV. Is that correct?

You chose well. Welcome aboard!

Oh, good grief!!!

For those who chose to avoid it for whatever reason, Lady Ga Ga gave the most awesome halftime performance I can remember! I am now a fan. More fake news I suppose.

I've driven several vehicles past 250k, and have yet to experience a worn out u joint.
-
I haven't found that to be the case. Just drive it til they need replaced and replace them.

Make sure it doesn't have a rebuilt title. That plus out of state gets tricky.

Need a lot of bulk brass in 556/223
gregintenn replied to my82cam's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
26,000lbs of brass? I'd have to carry a rifle in the dump truck when I went to get it in case a police pulled me over. Could you imagine? LEO: Son, where are you going in such a hurry? Me: Home to reload this brass so I can go back tomorrow and finish sighing this thing in! -

It says that 88 cups of coffee in one day will kill me...probably pee myself to death. I think I'll be good.
-
It'll go "bang". That is all. Many will steer you away from shooting 556 ammo in a rifle marked 223, and I will not dispute that, but my experience has been that it works just fine. Having said that, I do not own pressure testing equipment to verify pressure levels, and therein lies the potential problem. Were i wanting to shoot 556 in it regularly, I'd probably take it to a gunsmith and have it rechambered to 556 or 223 Wilde. Even though the brass is the same, the leade in the chamber is different between the two rounds.

Why the hell do I want to money from the dairy industry? Every time I paid for a gallon of milk, I received a gallon of milk.

I agree wholeheartedly with everything you say. Making it a LAW is my problem. It isn't law one has to pay for swimming lessons. Firearms training shouldn't be either.
-
I'm guessing mandatory training is a lot more popular idea among those who provide it as a means of income than it is among the general population.
