  1. Buy it or tell us where the hell it's at! :wall:
  2. Been a long week. Thanks. I didn't catch that.   I'd buy it were it not astronomically priced. Pinned and recessed Smith prices are going up like a rocket!!
  3. The easiest solution is to stop at a red light. :hat:
  4. I'd say at least 6 bills with the 3" barrel.
  5. Now that is the stuff dreams are made of!
  6. Congratulations! That's a beautiful rifle. Thank you for sharing it with us. Are you going to take it to Africa?
  7. To my knowledge, Lincoln WAS a Republican; at least for a while.
  8. Whoopie!!!!!!!! The first female Republican on currency!!!!!!!!!!!! :bowrofl:   Won't that piss Obama off.   THis is the sort of conflict a liberal has when he sees an endangered species eat another endangered species. What to do, what to do?

Oh my! That is a jewel indeed. Sorry about your friend.
  10. I'm already where I plan to be when the chit hits the fan.....unless, of course, my wife happens to be "the fan".
  11. As much as I adore the current Challengers and Rams, I don't see me buying any Chrysler product in the foreseeable future.
  12. Although some have been rechambered to 257 Roberts, as far as I know, 6.5 Jap is your only option for a factory chambered rifle. I have some ammo and a sporterized type 38. Honestly, a box of ammunition is likely worth more than the rifle.   If you're really itching to shoot it, however, here's a small selection in stock.     http://www.grafs.com/retail/catalog/category/categoryId/164?
  13. That's what I thought. The one that told her to go buy a new one lives nearly in sight of her house.
  14. She has four kids. I'm afraid they'd feel like I was trying to insert myself where I don't belong if I went to her house and did things like that. I thought of that, but I'm not sure how it would be taken. The donation is one of the best ideas I've seen so far for the situation. Keep em coming.   My wife will be at her daughter's house next weekend. Maybe she could feel the daughter out for ideas.
  15. An older widow lady I've known since childhood had a lawnmower that wouldn't crank. She called her son, and he told her to just go buy a new one. She did, and asked if anyone wanted to take the old one before she GAVE it to the dealership she bought it from.   After trying to pay, and explaining there probably wasn't much wrong with it, I took it home. Sure enough, a new battery was all it needed. She knew the situation, and is quite wealthy. I don't really feel I've beat her out of anything, but I do feel I need to get her a gift card, or do something for her. She wouldn't sell it. She just wanted to give it away.   It is a Dixon zero turn. It works great now. What could I do for this lady to show my appreciation? Donation to a charity in her honor? I'm stumped.
  16. I thought polygamy was frowned upon here.
  17. You have to really crank that nut down tightly to keep it from slipping. Could you put your press in a vice or something?
  18. I chose not to watch the video, because I'm not sure I can bring myself to utter the words "I agree with Obama".
  19. Are the magazines fully seating?
  20. I've never put loctite on a scope mount screw, and never had a loose one. Your mileage may vary.
  21. Neil Young is an talentless turd. The jury is still out on Jimmy Falon.
  22. There's one right next to it. It was great.
  23. Hence the isolator switch!   I've been told it is possible for electricity to jump a main breaker in the off position. I don't understand how this could happen, but I do not want to be responsible for the injury or death of some poor guy trying to get my power back on.   As of now, I run extension cords to each appliance I want to power in an outage.
  24. I think I got everything to make one up at the local Ace Hardware. I haven't used it, as I've yet to find anyone willing to install an isolator switch.   I need to look into the interlock plate tacops mentioned.
