Not sure. I applied for my rebate online. I think everything I needed was on the receipt. https://at.rebatepromotions.com/ I filled out the required info here.

WOW!!!!!!!!!! That's one helluva deer by anyone's standards. Congratulations. I'll bet you were some kind of excited.

Is this an invitation? :D

Sweet rifle. You probably won't find ammo for it a WalMart. I've loaded 22 Hornet, 218 Bee, and 32-20, but never this one. I assume you'd neck down 22 Hornet then fireform it?

I'm hoping it wasn't hit well. It was a fairly long shot, although I was comfortable with it. I found a blood trail for a while, and could find no more. I brought my son and my dog to help with the search, but no dice. Maybe we'll get another crack at him. This really sucks. I don't like wounding one at all. It was a fairly long shot, but I felt comfortable with it. He moved slowly, like he was hurt, I got a second shot off and heard him take about three more steps. I assumed he was down, but I was wrong. I was able to follow a blood trail for a while, but could no longer find it. My dog could trail him about as far as I could. It's like the earth swallowed him up or something. I thought I would be able to see him leave the area after the second shot if he wasn't. I waited a long while before going to where he was. I'm at a loss. -
Same to ya, Doug!

The Smith is the better gun and should be worth more, but Winchester collectors are an odd lot, so it's hard to tell what the 94 would bring in years to come.

I got a rebate gift card from them. It took about 3 weeks I think.

If you haven't seen the movie "Lawless", you've really cheated yourself. If you had seen it, you wouldn't ask who Tom Hardy is. I'm betting this one is a winner as well.

My thoughts exactly! Corporate taxes coupled with never ending regulatory oversight has crippled our manufacturing capabilities.

Lebanon Locker is just east of the Lebanon square. Not a bad drive form Mt. Juliet. http://lebanontnlocker.com/

Thanks MacGyver. Your opinion holds great value to me. Thank to everyone else as well. Keep em coming.

Which model do you have? Mojave's? Cascade? Acadia? I like Leupold scopes. My father has a pair of Gold Ring binos, but they are no longer in production. They are nice glass.

Tell me about them. I'm looking for a pair for deer hunting, and shopping for them is an exercise in frustration. Any help or advice would be appreciated. I'm thinking I want 8x, and larger than the compact models.

Deer tenderloin and biscuits sure made a good breakfast this morning!  -
I think there is one this weekend in Carthage. I'd like a report on that if anyone went.
-
It was just kids. What I figured, but you never know anymore.
-
Took him at least 5 minutes to turn around if that was the case. I figure it was just some dumba$$ teenage boys if I had to guess. I'm just afraid that some people around wouldn't have handled it as well. I'd hate to see a kid shot over something innocent, but a lot of folks are on edge over recent events.
-
I expect the police handled this well. Don't tell the media squat until it's over.

Some genius pulls up in my driveway, headlights shining in my bedroom window, in a loud diesel pickup, revving the engine. I get up, put on my pants, stick a pistol in my pocket, and go out to introduce myself to this genius. About halfway there, he must have decided he needed to be somewhere else in a hurry. Now I was in the mood to have a frank conversation with this guy, but I guess this was the best outcome that could have happened. I figure it was some kids with a few too many beers, but what are parents teaching their children these days? This would have gotten your windshield perforated at a lot of peoples' homes. I'm about to give up on humankind. :shake:
-
Local talk is that he wasn't in it alone. I hope they get everyone involved. A public hanging would be ideal, but won't ever happen today. This guy can't be dead enough quick enough for me.

I haven't touched a rifle this morning, but that's o.k. Little man got his first deer, a doe. 200+ yard shot. Of course my ol' pappy comes by with this monster 8 he killed this morning. Despite the hot weather and gale force winds here, it's been a good morning. Time to make the jerky! :no1: I took off work next week, so maybe I'll get to hunt then. -
They've caught the S.O.B.! A lady was interviewing him on the news. I don't see how anyone could do that without leaning over and strangling him. http://www.wdrb.com/story/30571307/scottsville-ky-man-charged-with-kidnapping-rape-murder-in-death-of-7-year-old I hope his fellow inmates take care of him, as I don't have much faith our justice system will.
