Sadly, I don't see demand for what your asking about. Smith and Wesson pretty much perfected the revolver before going on to screw it up. I'm sure rising production costs and fading demand figured into their desicion to cheap out on the newer models.

New Smith and Wessons ain't much. Here's a high end revolver if you're in the market for one. Korth-Waffen (Revolver)# It's this or spring for a vintage Smith and Wesson.

Shop around, and I'll bet you can find a decent original for that price.

I've found that lots of times, you are better off to keep many accessories, as they don't usually add much value to the gun. Once you have a great big box of this stuff, you can dig through it periodically for fun, sometimes you'll find something in there you need for another rifle, or you can trade or sell some of these items by themselves when you find a person looking for such items. These items also make good trade fodder.
