Here’s the link for the mag extensions: https://shoptaurus.com/shop-by-model/pistols/taurustx-22/tandemkross-wingman-5-magazine-bumper-for-taurus-tx22 I will say the factory magazines are a little finicky in the fact that you need to kind of shake them a little at a close to horizontal angle to get them all to line up to feed. It’s second nature for me by now but newer shooters always say “this doesn’t look right”. They also feel super flimsy and cheaply made. Once you get the hang of it it’s a shake and a tap to align the bullets, tap and rack. Looking back on it I guess I’ve had this now since spring of 2021, cleaned tops 4 times and it goes out with me every time I shoot. I bought it second hand from my LGS as well. Early reviews commented on issues of the slide cracking or problems with the barrel. This thing has been a workhorse for me though, and glad I got the competition version to have two complete slides. By far gets the most use out of anything with a 10/22 taking second place. Awesome plinkers, good for those who are hesitant to shoot handguns to start on, overall no complaints.

Agreed. Have spoke on this before. If anyone is interested certain holidays Taurus runs a 20% off, the 4th is one of them it appears. "INDEPENDENCE2023”. https://shoptaurus.com/shop-by-model/pistols/taurustx-22/taurustx-22-competition-conversion-kit Comes out to $160 with free shipping. Mounted a cheap Bushnell dot with the coupon. Now that I’m posting this I realize that I bought the +5 Mag extensions and never installed, they’re buried in the safe somewhere. My best friend and his brother are in town and we’ll be shooting so will organize and find. Does anyone have any experience with the magazine extensions? Honestly mine ran so well I didn’t want to change it up I just added it to the cart as an impulse buy the last time I got a 20% off coupon. Have run pretty much all ammo through it and haven’t found a brand it doesn’t like as long as it’s not dirty. It gets a lot of use and once I get a FTF I know it’s time to clean.
  3. Thank you kindly. I will certainly DM you when I have a chance, heading to bed. Appreciate it. The guy I reached out to also recommended Woodcraft, seems like it would be a good resource.
  4. In all honesty I’m just in a weird spot in life. Feeling myself get complacent and trying to combat that. I shoot pool, throw darts, weld, golf. I like competing against myself. All of these passions kind of quiet the mind for me. Looking for another hobby to eat up a few hours of daylight. I don’t have any grand plans of what to do with my hands, would like to build her a few proper garden boxes with lattices. I’ve built a few but they are temporary to say the least. I’m pretty versed in CAD and decent with my hands. Would like to expand off that. Honestly just trying to work out the mind muscle a bit more.
  5. I tried a few links. A lot were defunct post Covid. Had an old timer I used to work with that is going to show me the works. I shoot pool, throw darts, golf, and shoot. This is one of those hobbies I want to do for myself.
  6. Pretty cool man. Congrats.
  7. I had this interest before the pandemic. Pre pandemic Home Depot would offers 45 min class. Post I can’t find anything. I reached out to a coworker who retired and was well versed in the subject. He does primarily art frames, I’m not sure what I want to do yet. Google shows that there’s not that many like minded people without paying. Anyone have a table saw and a few handtools that would like to take the time to introduce a newbie. Looking to fill some time. Thanks in advance, Scotty
  8. I’ll give a bump for a good seller and a good deal. He left me a very open window, this is $110 cheaper than anywhere online not including shipping and theft.
  9. If no one else claims this by 12am I will take it. I’m on a self imposed no buy, giving myself a time limit, but all quarantine I had my eyes on the PSA 15-22 kit. With the upgrades this is a steal to have a dedicated .22lr trainer. She’d get a kick out of it plinking off the porch.
  10. I think it’s neat. Some single guy in here buy it as a wall hanger above the mantle.

  12. You can feel free to long in through mine. I’ve had the same issue. Doesn’t bother me as I usually am on private browsing and it only occurs not signed in.
  13. Update: If you’re going to a broadway show it’s 100% no fly zone. Comedy shows are the same (someone mentioned Rodney Carrington turning people back to their vehicles). Disney shows are the same. Expect to be wanded and politely asked to leave it in a vehicle. Basically there’s a sign on the door that says no berettas. If you’re going to a kids show and not printing… it’s up to the show and how good you are with concealment. Officially, it’s a govt building that has on the doors no weapons unless you’re PD.
  14. I purchased a coveted item on a resale that drew high interest. I responded within 13 mins, the only person who beat me was a very, very well established member that had the trade offer in hand just not exactly what the person was looking for. I really appreciated and respected the fact that the gentleman messaged me with a timeline and that it was mine. Invited me and mine into his home, and told me “if you wanted to sell this without XYZ, you could sell this for the same price”. He explained he turned down multiple higher offers. We’re talking multiple, much higher offers than I would pay at the time. Misses and I made a day out of it to pick it up. To this day it’s one of my favorites and when anyone comes over to shoot they all get a grin and feel the same. That was one of my earliest deals here and I really appreciated the gentleman agreement. I’ll always do the same moving forward. I’ve also been on the other end where I said “I’ll take it, pm sent” but couldn’t make it work with my work schedule to make it out until 5 days after and the person told me they were going to go with someone who was available then. They needed cash in hand. I completely understood. Always appreciated that deal mentioned above and I’ve had nothing but good things to say about the people I’ve met here. They haven’t all been exceptional but majority has and they’ve all been good people. Even had random people reach out to me offering something obscure that they didn’t need anymore for free and then turn down anything I offered to give them as trade. All that aside, if someone wasted my time on a meet or bails last minute I’d leave negative feedback to warn the next person. Overall super pleased with the TGO community. Glad I finally joined after years of stalking *(Left the people mentioned above anonymous, you know who you are).
  15. Won’t say that I’m afraid that it will pass first run. But I do fear how fast everything’s advancing in the past few years pre/post Covid. Im one of those TGO’ers that skews late 30’s. I can’t help but feel that they’re coming for us. Generation below me is extremely anti 2A.
  16. This is wild to see how coveted this has become. I used to be in food and beverage. This was always $65 a bottle without a case break. My how the times have changed. What spiked the popularity? I understand it’s incredibly good bourbon but what was the tipping point that made this so popular? The derby and the little horse on top? Or is it just hipsters from Brooklyn who sparked the newest “every bar needs two mid-tier old fashioneds trend”?
  17. Hey, This has come across my homepage for a few days. Naturally I just ignored it as it seems wild that the gov of CA will introduce an amendment. I follow a couple of “guntubers” on YouTube, and I really like this guys take. I consume most of the videos he puts out. Dont want this to turn political, but I think there’s nothing harder than being a black conservative in today’s climate. Guys got a law degree and found a niche and capitalized on it. I’ll also include a second link on how they juice the numbers saying that guns are the number one killer of children in America. This video allowed my elderly and sheltered mother to look a bit past the headlines. Hope this helps any Fourth of July debates. Link1: https://twitter.com/MrColionNoir/status/1666922564734668802?cxt=HHwWhMC-sbXPjKIuAAAA Link2: https://twitter.com/MrColionNoir/status/1667621785276149761?cxt=HHwWgsCzsbTLyqQuAAAA Again, not positing this for political reasons but I’d imagine many members heard of newsom trying to “submit” an amendment. I’m one of those kooky libertarians that think that both political parties of the gov are foul and who just wants to be left alone.
  18. To echo what others have said. Glad you’re on the other side of the state. Thanks for your service bud.
  19. I think there’s also a difference between owning and carrying. I’d imagine drug crimes and DUI will probably still DQ from carrying. https://thereload.com/federal-appeals-court-rules-second-amendment-protects-non-violent-felons-gun-rights/
  20. FOR SWLL
  21. "The most terrifying force of death, comes from the hands of Men who wanted to be left Alone. They try, so very hard, to mind their own business and provide for themselves and those they love. They resist every impulse to fight back, knowing the forced and permanent change of life that will come from it. They know, that the moment they fight back, their lives as they have lived them, are over. The moment the Men who wanted to be left alone are forced to fight back, it is a form of suicide. They are literally killing off who they used to be. Which is why, when forced to take up violence, these Men who wanted to be left alone, fight with unholy vengeance against those who murdered their former lives. They fight with raw hate, and a drive that cannot be fathomed by those who are merely play-acting at politics and terror. TRUE TERROR will arrive at these people's door, and they will cry, scream, and beg for mercy... but it will fall upon the deaf ears of the Men who just wanted to be left alone." ^^^
