  1. I have one of these and posted I believe last time it was around. Great beater AR IMO. Barrel is BA.
  2. Know this is kind of obscure but figured I’d go fishing. Looking for T-posts/T-post driver. Just seeing if anyone has any from garden/fencing projects. Looking to hang more targets, was using scrap conduit and wiring to hang them and want to upgrade to something more semi-permanent. Willing to trade ammo. Located in Goodlettsville but frequent downtown and Brentwood. Thanks, Scotty
  3. Free bump for a seller who always prices stuff super fair. GLWS!
  4. https://www.gtdist.com/used-gun-glock-22-gen-4-40-pistol.html For anyone in the Chattanooga area, they’re on the Georgia line but have an office in chatt that they do transfers for free (90% sure on internet sleuthing, YMMV) 10% off coupon for new users. $300 out the door w/ tax and background check.
  5. I actually stalk gun deals religiously. I’ve always been hesitant for GAFS mainly because I don’t understand it. Is it all just honor system? I assume you pay up front via Venmo or PayPal or something, but what assurance is there that you don’t get scammed and not receive anything? Thanks in advance.
  6. I have checked no less than a dozen times to see if it’s still in stock. I don’t need this…. But… If it weren’t for the warden, it would be en route to FFL. Picked up a little flak on my latest purchase in the form of an eye roll and “why do you need another one” which I hadn’t gotten before. Think she was a little ticked off I’ve been working so much. “Because I just think they’re neat babe, I think they're neat”. Gonna be a decent dinner this weekend. (Forgot to mention the case of 10mm I bought , hoping UPS is lazy as usual and drops it at the end of the drive).
  7. https://aaoptics.com/Refurbished-_c_93.html Lots of good deals here. Warranty covers any hangups. No shipping or tax.

  9. Thanks so much for all the responses. I try to be as frugal as possible with such an expensive hobby and have been burned as others have stated. I’ve got a sub $100 “chinesium” Amazon dot that works great for me on my brush hunting gun. I mainly shoot .22lr and those optics are cheap enough and get the job done for plinking. I try to find open box/refurbs by vortex or Leupold because of the warranty. It’s just really hard for me to gamble on +$500 scopes without handling them. I was able to handle a Leopoldo delta micro for glocks on a dummy gun at a show from the distributor and thought it was great. Found a killer open box deal and after mounting it I don’t see much of an improvement from irons. Everyone’s eyesight and preferences are different which is why I struggle with reviews, I just made a purchase that had fiber optic sights with green in the rear and red in the front. Thought it looked great, only to shoot it and wonder why the hell I was missing shots with a .22. The green in the rear is too distracting for me to pickup the red in the front. I guess trial and error and time will be king. Really appreciate the responses, any future comments welcomed as well. Thanks for the website recommendation and DL’s checklist.
  10. I’m surprised no one mentioned the Sig p938. If I were to pocket carry that seems comfortable enough.
  11. https://www.combatarmory.com/combat-armory-ar15-rifle-5-56x45mm-nato-16-30-1-m-lok-hard-coat-anodized-rifle/ Use code TAKE75 for $75 off… that’s $345 for an AR shipped…. https://www.combatarmory.com/combat-armory-ar15-pistol-m-lok-300-blackout-7-5-30-1-hard-coat-anodized-buffer-tube-stock/ $335 Shipped!!! What a time to be alive.
  12. Just got an email from Taurus about a recall on the GX4. Figure Ill add it here rather than start a new thread. https://gx4safetynotice.com/?utm_source=GATMarketing&utm_medium=taurusemail&utm_campaign=may23
  13. I believe it’s been “in place” for a bit with the signs and whatnot. Not full metal detectors. But expect to get wanded.
  14. Trying to keep this as concise as possible. How do you know the difference between the newest LPVO and the newest dot and magnifier. How are you comfortable dropping $200-300+ on the newest “xyz” “407c, etc. I can do as much reading as the next and I do my due diligence. I typically don’t shoot at indoor ranges which leaves my exposure to what the general public has mounted limited. I don’t get the opportunity to let someone fire off one of my mags anll setup and vice versa. I guess the question is how do you know when to spend the money on a decent optic without having it in hand or on a previously shot long gun first? Ive done my due diligence and I feel like I’ve done fine with the scopes and dots that I’ve purchased but I was wondering if anyone had any other tips other than to expand your shooting circle. It just starts to get pretty pricey to gamble on someone else testimonials. Thanks, Scotty
  15. May fly in the county he was in, don’t see it working in his favor in Davidson or Shelby. Just my $.02.
  16. Very versed. 100% no fly zone. Unless you’re LE/ on a detail. Wands and all.
  17. Deputies said that he also admitted to closing his eyes while he shot because he was scared and shooting as the suspects ran back to their car. I guess the side that says to repeat “I was in fear for my life against armed assailants, lawyer”, “lawyer”, “lawyer”or some form of that wins this round. No opinion either way but the fact that he admitted to police to having his eyes closed jumped off the page.
