  1. You smart comrade, you figure out, how you Americans say, situation :D Now that's funny right there, I don't care who you are.........
  2. Farrar Bros. Hardware on Broad across from the Kmart has it for future reference. Kroil has been around for many, many years. My dad was a mechanical engineer that graduated from GA Tech back in the late 50's and he loved the stuff. That was always good enough for my simple brain.
  3. I'm an expert on mildew, just look in my underwear/sock drawer for verification . The foam doesn't have a mildew smell, it is most definitely a chemical smell of some sort. I guess the only thing to do is keep airing it or replace it. I wonder if Fabreeze would work on it.............. As far as the build of the box, it looks great. Flush and fit are on the money and the hinge and lock mechanism work just fine. The skin is thick enough to do its purpose so I really can't complain about much except for the mothball smell from the foam. Appearance and functionality wise, the foam looks and works good. It just leaves a mothbally smell on your gun.
  4. OK, so I've had this a few days and I've had it open to try and get rid of the obnoxious smell that is in the foam to no avail. Anybody got any recommendations on how to get the mothbally smell out of this thing?
  5. I hope it doesn't hit the tag office over there, mufflers will be flying everywhere.................
  6. Recon how much money that is. Last I recall, isn't a box of twinkies a little over 3 bux???
  7. I was wondering the same thing.
  8. A new supporting vendor, The Armory, is in Lebanon on 231 about 2-3 miles north of the interstate. Sort of across the street from Cracker Barrel. I've been in there once and they seemed to have a ok selection of stuff on the wall. Don't know what a blue label glock is so I wouldn't know if they had one or not. Does the blue label mean that you can glue it back together with model cement???
  9. Good, good post Drew. I am with you word for word.
  10. I had been looking at these, yall just made my mind up, one just ordered.
  11. Hmm, thought about being customer.........................................oh well
  12. For my wife, who hates this.............. General_Quarters ringtone - download this ringtone for free For my work boss Red Alert ringtone - download this ringtone for free For my kids because when they have to resort to calling me, its usually for something really ridiculous - like "Dad, we stuck a screwdriver in the electrical socket and the house burned down. Just thought you might like to know.............." Woody woodpecker laugh ringtone - download this ringtone for free
  13. So................your the red x fellow who goes around replacing everybodys pic with the
  14. It's something that is maintenance heavy, but if it's working, it is very accurate. I think it would be the fall back if the SHTF because once you manually tell it where it is, it does not have to use outside sources (GPS, VOR, etc.) to navigate accurately, for a while. Being that it contains gyros, it will have some precession errors over time and you will have to reset it every once and a while.............
  15. I see this in your future in retaliation.......................... Edit - Dang you KB4, couldn't you have waited just one more cotton pickin minute........................................
  16. I've had that at the one in Gulfshores a couple of years ago. Came in a washtub if I remember correct and was a BIG chunk of meat. I got it medium rare so everybody around me was " - Dude, your gonna be and :puke:" Pff, you kids and your fancy smancy toys............... Back in the good ole days, VOR's were state of the art and Loran C was but a glimmer in somebodies eyes and our planes weren't made of plastic - They were made of metal ...........AND WE LIKED IT, WE LOVED IT Walking around the much smaller campus back then you also got to hear about mysterious things like inertial navigation. If you got to fool with intertial nav, you were in the big leagues
  17. What's wrong with Pilot truck stops?
  18. Hope it went well. I wish I'd have read this before you went. The biggest piece of advise I could have given you is don't panic and get in a rush. Calmly react and methodically perform. Its can you do it safely and not how quick you can do it. After the checkride, it was weird getting to fly with both engines producing thrust. I know my knee really liked it better than the one engine stuff. I hope somebody got around to lubricating the durn rudder trim wheel over there. It was so freakin hard to turn when I went through it was basically useless.
  19. I see your used nose spray and raise you some used hemorrhoid cream....................
  20. If everybody liked the van, I would look for a used transmission as mentioned above. I'll bet a used transmission would be cheaper than buying another used car. That would also allow for some "shade tree" disassembly of the original transmission. I'll bet the bands are just worn out, which is the part that is suppost to wear out, and replacing them would have you running like new.
  21. One hang up on the taxing issue they probably have is how do you tax something that everybody can grow in their backyard. If you had a small patch on your property, are you going to the "revenuer" to self report?
  22. Now we'll have to be specific about knots when we start talking about ropes, trees, and referees.....................
