  1. Mine usually goes something like this. Something with some complexity to it breaks down. I disassemble to fix, replace defective part, re-assemble, feel good about it, look over to edge of workbench, find part I forgot to put back in, have to totally disassemble to re-install said forgotten part. Usually involves having to break apart at least two seals that I don't have another of to get back into it.
  2. I believe you should have called boobs at least one more time to see if it really needed to be deleted or not....... Is that the same girl that Ralphie May refers too?? Caution, explicit language NWS Start at 8:15, finishes in part 5/6 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IW6svqRm3tU&feature=related
  3. See Al Gore (sic) and all the global warming "scientists" for futher examples.
  4. They noticed you were new and had to run the mandatory credit check on you and yours. You must have passed or you would have been escorted out of Brentwood City limits.................... Jk, Welcome to TN.
  5. Well, I'll give you that you have excellent fillabuster material
  6. This thought had run across my mind before, maybe somebody here smarter than me can sort this out. How much cheaper would cars be if they stopped all the advertisements or reduced the frequency of them considerably? Take your local news cast for instance. On every local channel during the news at each break, there is at least one car commercial, usually more than that. Add in all the radio advertisements, magazines and newspapers, I would hazard a guess that these ads make the price of a car go up considerably.
  7. The stupid idiots on the sonic commercials. Made me boycott sonic for a while.
  8. and it has a recorder too! Click black box with red dot in it.
  9. Some Bersa's, like the model 383 and model 85 are double action, so you could leave one in the tube and uncocked. If that one she has is double action, all she'd have to do is pull the trigger and it'll rack itself till the mag is empty.
  10. Well, channel 4 in all its wisdom, or lack thereof, is filling that time with.......................more news. The only redeeming factor is that Jennifer Johnson is going to be co-hosting.
  11. Or is not married or has his computer password protected and doesn't let her look over his shoulder, or you would have heard the distinctive sound of a cast iron pan being rung over the head by now.
  12. Dealer only auctions. Sometimes you have seen a car hauler loaded with used cars going down the interstate. More than likely, that came from a dealer only auction (sometimes from out of state) and is being delivered to the used car lot that bought them. If they sit too long at that particular dealer, they will get loaded back up and go back to the auction. Also, the new car dealers who are overstocked on trade ins or get one that has high mileage or some other blemish that they don't want to sell, they go to auction as well.
  13. I've seen this one in Watertown a few times, always thought it looked pretty cool. Old trains, scenic train rides at the Tennessee Central Railway,Nashville Edit, I see this particular link has been discussed previously, so forgive the duplication and I guess I have nothing to add here.
  14. I was at the edge of my technological knowledge with the first one. I have no idea about sub forum thread subscriptions, never done that or even know what that means. Sorry, somebody smarter will be along shortly.
  15. I think you'll find most of the functions under the "Forum Actions" tab.
  16. I would say that is probably a good neighborhood. It is not that old. I think most of those houses have been built within the last ten years or so. If you or your spouse like shopping, that's pretty close and centralized to all of the newer stores and mallish stuff in town, like the Avenues on Medical Center Parkway and all of the stuff on Hwy 96/Franklin Road. Traffic on that side of town can be a booger. Hwy 96 around both sides of the interstate is a hot spot for congestion. Medical Center Parkway is not as bad, but there are traffic lights every four feet, it seems. If you have kids, you are right on top of the "Blackman" conglomerate of schools. Elementary all the way through high school is right down the street and around the corner on Blaze Drive, could walk if you really wanted to no problem. As far as guns and shooting, that is not far from Ontarget, a gun store with an indoor range. I couldn't speak to the range due to I've never shot there but the store is well stocked. Personally, I think a little on the high side on prices but everybody has opinions about that. You are also close to I-24 which if you take towards Chattanooga down to Exit 89, you'll find the Outpost Armory. They have a rather large selection of stuff as well. I like that store better than Ontarget, and I've bought some stuff from the Outpost. Further down the interstate to Winchester, you'll find Hero Gear, a supporting vendor here on this forum. I've never been there but there have been alot of praises of them posted here on the forum.
  17. Ok, I will agree to disagree. I am not a know it all nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn last night but I have, in my short 43 years, changed how I look at things in life. If you can limit the stressful situations or shorten them, you will end up having a better and safer day. I would encourage you to continue to think about things and find better, less stressful ways of being a part of society. If not for yourself, maybe for your family and everybody else. Good evening and I hope I am not offending you. I am not meaning to.
  18. I will agree that someone riding your rear is something that shouldn't happen. However, I must disagree with your thought of continuing to ride the left lane with someone on your bumper, even if you are doing the speed limit. I see in your snake thread (cool by the way) that you have a son. Why would you want to wave the red flag in front of a bull in that situation and possibly endanger your son? What harm would come in simply moving over and letting the tailgating moron to go on? Your stress level and his would both be much lower than if you continue to impede his perceived progress.
