  1. How about the over and incorrect use of "impact".  How will that hamburger I ate impact my waist line?  What will be the impact of the ammo shortage?   G. Gordon Liddy when he was still on the air was always complaining about "for free".  It is supposed to be just "free".
  2.   Warning for language and youthful nitwittery, but otherwise funny video.   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vJjtQKND4W8
  3. The quick way to cover yourself is use the TGO Bill of Sale.  That exchanges info for the both of you as well as specifically lists the gun itself on the form.  If they aren't willing to do that, you might think twice about buying it.  If you do buy it and something comes up later on, you have the bill of sale to show who you got it from and they go see the person you got it from, etc, etc.
  4. Giant RC vehicle.  Like a Bigfoot or something
  5. Six pages and nobody has said anything about the morons who come down the "acceleration" lane onto the interstate doing 40 mph and stop at the end cause you couldn't get over to let them in due to traffic and look at you like your the idiot?  Man, y'all are slipping.
  6. I guess.  For that matter, I could go an aisle or two over and get tents and sleeping bags.     I guess one of those people sold one of the Walmart 6920's this morning on GOC over in Crossville.
  7. The real crazy part for me, well other than the whole stalking the fedex guy thing, is that they have to wait til 9 or 10 before something shows up.  I don't think I could stand there that long, my feet and legs would be killing me.
  8. Just for fun today, I went by both the Walmarts in Murfreesboro and just asked when was the last time you saw a Colt 9620.  One on Old Fort said "Oh, about 9:45 this morning".  The one on S. Rutherford Blvd. said last Friday.  What caught my attention and I guess I didn't realize how crazy this has gotten but both places said that there are groups of people who show up at like 5 and 6 in the morning everyday to stand and wait to see whats coming in.  I would guess that is happening about everywhere.    I guess I will just have to keep waiting or find somewhere else.
  9.   I stand corrected.  I will look for them there the next time I need some.
  10. These are very good.  These allow you to drill your hole, move the safe over the holes, drop these in through the safe and hammer the "nail" down.  To remove safe, you remove the nut and washer and lift the safe off the bolt/stud.   They come in a variety of sizes and lengths.  Home Depot or Lowe's and the like won't have them.  You'll have to go to a construction oriented hardware store or to a Fastenal or similar.
  11. Just out of curiosity, what kind of price does Walmart have on it?
  12. If this is the best they can do, I aint a watchin Wed. night, I can't take it.
  13. Maybe it was election time over there and they voted mostly republican
  14. Oh boy, how many avenues can this lead down........... Welcome back btw, almost have quit looking over here due to the blandness. Maybe things looking up.
  15. I'd say instead of worrying about hats and stuff, they should be worried about getting better cameras. It cracks me up every time on the news when they say "have you seen this person" and all you see is a human shaped blob. I'm tempted to call every time and say "Yep, that there is Prez Obama".
  16. Yeah, or where were you when I went to Atlanta and back over this past weekend...... I swear I was turning into Dave Redmon before it was all over with.
  17. If your worried about putting it up and having to move later, you can find a piece of pipe that the pole will slip in and set the pipe in the concrete, sort of forming a socket for the pole to slip into. Then, if you move, all you have to do is pull the pole back out of the pipe and go.
  18. Think of all the revenue they could get if they enforced the "Slower traffic keep right" sign.
  19. I change the channel immediately when the flash mob idiot comes on and the spider phone too.
  20. With the abs stuff now a days, I've always been of thought it was a good idea to change the brake fluid now and again. Brake fluid does absorb water so I figure it's a good idea to get it out before some sort of corrosion gets to eating on something more valuable than the fluid. After I bought one of those brake bleeders that use the air compressor, it really cut the time and aggravation down on that task considerably. Having seen the old fluid come out of several vehicles and how dirty it is myself, I would have figured a mechanic who has seen it a lot more than I have would have wanted to change brake fluid every once and a while..........maybe I am missing something.
  21. Don't impede traffic there in the left lane, they'll shoot you...........
  22. Our gobermint, the ever increasing buracrazy (I know I mispelled it, it was on purpose), in an effort to appear "necessary" and to be doing something, will always continue to create new and tighter rules and regulations. We are at the point now that the gobermint has regulated us to a stand still. I would not be surprised to find out that they were considering legislation to outlaw breathing. All that CO2 we expell when we breath is contributing to *gasp* global warming. I know this is impossible on so many different levels but I can't get this thought out of my head. That thought being, maybe we would be better off just closing down gobermint all together and send them all home. Then we can attend to/fix things ourselves as things happen. Now where did I leave that crack pipe..........
