Tool?? Well, maybe. I did labor under the impression the Senator was female. I could be wrong. But I thought perhaps a different phrase more applicable to Ms. Feinstein.

Stopped in once on the way back from Knoxville after a buying trip. It's a pretty decent place. You can shoot some rifles there, don't remember the caliber upper limit. But I did shoot my newly acquired 7.62x39 and popped off some 5.56 as well. Seems like the range is 25 yards for both rifle and pistol, but I'm not real sure on that. Pretty decnt selection of hunting supplies and gun/pistol inventory was fair. Not great but about average for a small shop. The worst thing I can say about the place was that at the time I stopped, and might have changed by now; is that you could only shoot rifles with their ammo. I was told this was to insure that no steel core was used in there. Didn't really like that, but it's their place and rules. Can't rmember the range fees at that time though.

Gonna stack it up beside the G19 and the F Model Caracal. Dryfiring the 3, they all feel pretty similar to me. And I'm really amazed at the trigger reset on the M&P and Caraca. Very much like the Glock to me. Just gotta decide where to try these out...G&L or Nashville Armory?

Scary. Makes me ask myself why I go out without something on my person so often? Do I think just because I'm in my own yard nothing can happen? Maybe that's it. I gotta retrain to pick up something every time I go out the door. Period. Thanks for the reality check.

That's a really good price for it. The best I've seen or heard of from anyone. I don't think it will be anytime soon that price will be available to the average customer. I understand wanting an AR, but that's a great opportunity to get into a good 1911. I looked at one today at Eastside Gun Shop and really was impressed. With tax and tic it would have been about 702 OTD.

A few years ago, my wife asked how many I had. I told her. These days she doen't ask how many "We" have, only that I must always have enough on hand to protect her from whatever should arise. The number isn't important. What is, is the ability to know what you got, how to use it, maintain it, and not let your obsession/collection interfere with other aspects of everyday life. She doesn't ask why I have ammo any more, only if I have enough. I married a smart woman.
