  1. Oh Crap. Now another gun to look at and start planning for. Do like the looks of it, but I think I'll go for a Cougar 8045 first.
  2. Cougar, I believe. Had one till i was talked out of it. Good size and comfortable to shoot in 45.
  3. Looks really nice. Can I have it?

    Chiappa Rhino

I agree with that. But...it holds very well. Feels very good in a shooting grip. And seems to line up on sights very well. I got a chance to look one over at Eastside Gun Shop some time back and found it rather interesting, looks aside. But not enough interest to purchase. Just too new and different to try on a whim. I'd really like the chance to shoot one sometime.
  5. Good lookin' piece there fella. Good price too. Not having dealt with Bud's before, how did you get it shipped to your door?
  6. Favorite--samoas and tagalongs. In my case, the barricade would have to be to keep me out. I was once the depository for a school choclate bar sale. I think I ate more than we sold.
  7. Prayers offered for you, your girlfriend and your families.

    Snubbies..

Nice collection. But I see a problem there. 13. That's a dangerous situation. You should send one, your choice, to me to reduce the danger of bad luck from that bad number.
  9. The problem here is that Sharia is more than a set of laws for moral behavior; it also binds the faithful to the political and governmental structure of Mohammad and Islam. Not only does it decree that the faithful follow the rites of "honor killings" and wife beating; it is at the heart of the tenaments of Islam. Treatment of infidels, the non-believer, is proscribed, including the expansion of Islam to all the world by force if necessary. I know this isn't well phrased, but look up Sharia Law. It is quite troubling if you believe the Islamic faithful are moderate and peaceful.
  10. Yes, a beautiful holster. I really like it. Do you do any to sell? With looks like that and that finish color...Wow.
  11. Auto-full load and one chambered. D/A or DAO revolvers- full load always.

    Snubbies..

    Really?

    Snubbies..

Like a lot of guys here, I prefer autoloaders, but have been coming back to snubbies and medium frame revolvers for fun basically. I do have a couple of Chiefs Specials. One from my father-in-law, and one of my dads old guns. Shoot them occasionally, but wouldn't part with them for the sentimental value. For range use I have a stainles Smith Model 66 that is a pleasure to shoot. Even found a nice current production Colt Agent that I just had to have. Now I'm thinking that I'd let it go and pick up another Smith...maybe a 617 in 4". I do find that i'm more accurate, at least in range shooting, with the revolvers than some , if not most of my autos.

The 40 is already available. Sawseveral at the Murfreesboro show last weekend. Sorry, I didn't check them out though, I was looking at the new Ruger 22/45 with the threaded barrel.

That's good to hear. I have yet to get any range time with mine. I've been shooting 45 and 22 when I last went to G&L. Been dryfiring to breakin the trigger and getting used to the reset. Hope to get it out in the next few days.
  17. Also sent pm with email address. Also interested.
  18. Good man. Seeing everone helping out a fellow shooter like that is the reason I like it here.
  19. Amen, my brother.
  20. I have about a dozen Beretta mags but they're 10/15 round. All older mags. I guess I should look to find some 20's or maybe go for a glock unit while I can get the 32 mags. But really i should just be content with what I've got and move on. I've got the hots for a suppressed ruger now and have found that Ruger is now offering a model with a threaded barrel and that's got me to thinking of threading the 10/22 i recently found. It just never seems to end. More and more toys...
  21. Get the forms for D&T, fill out all you can yourself, and ask nicely for their help. I wouldn't think it should be that difficult. At least check out the possibilities with D&T. I've made a few purchases from them and found them to be very helpful. To my way of thinking, as a former business owner, helping a customer with a claim for should fall under good custoomer relations and service.
  22. Great! I'm envious. I paid more for mine, unfortunately. I got one for Berrtta mags since I had a bunch of them. Really wish I'd gone with the glock anyway.
