  1. I'll probably go to see it, for all the aforementioned reasons, i.e., girls, guns, and special effects. But saw an extended preview las week and it sure looks to be short on story and plot.

    See y'all later

Be ever vigilant and God Bless and Keep you.
  3. You just can't fight logic like that.

Once again, shot placement. Not how many shots you get off.

    RUGER LC9

Looked at it over the weekend. Really didn't care for it. Why an external safety on a backup? I wasn't impressed. JMO
  6. Some of my favorite guns are the brainchild of John Moses Browning... 1911's and of course my namesake... the Hipower.
  7. Very good choice.
  8. "Gun shows suck" I've seen it here time and time again. Bich, moan, and complain somewhere else. If you didn't have acess to one, you'd complain about that. Open market situations aren't perfect...BUT neither are retail outlets all the time. If you don't like'm...simple solution. Don't go. I go to look at guns...old, new, whatever. If I find something I want, I ask if it's worth that price to me. If it is, I'll try to buy; and the key word here is try. If I can't come to a compromise with either the seller or myself...I don't get the gun and walk away. And that's true for a storefront or a gun show. I've been to great shows, to some not so great; but it was my choice to go. No one held a gun to my head and forced me to go. (Subtle attempt at humor here.) And prices are what they are. Fair market value. Whose value? That's up to two people to decide. Buyer and Seller. And as for those outrageous prices you don't like...You pack up a load of your own precious guns and rifles...put a price that you want out of them, and offer them to the walk-in public for sale at that ridiculous price you set on it. Put up with average joe who goes to a gun show, not just we wonderfully understanding people that would never ask more than what someone else says is the "right" price on a firearm types, spend two days and pack up after being told your crap aint worth that, and go home. Yeah, I'm raving. But having been on both sides here..buying and selling...some of you are just freakin whiners! Get a clue and a life. And if you are honest about the whole situation, some of you will admit to griping just as much about almost any and every gun shop at one time or another.
  9. Ditto.
  10. Words don't help, but I'm so very sorry for your losses..home vehicles and guns. But thank God you are ok.
  11. Well...maybe not exactly entertain. But he does seem to have more deletions for irrevelent comments than I do.
  12. Welcome back. Seems like a lot of the "'older" gus are or have been on hiatus of late. I sure miss the snappy dialog from the veterans. These young guys sure do seem a little out of it. The good sharp wit has been missing for awhile. What's happened to the guys like Mike357, Markatsea, and SunSzu? Erik88 can't entertain us for much longer.
  13. LCP. I've had both the LCP and the keltec. I'd give the LCP a slight edge over the keltec. No specific reason for me, I just seem to shoot and handle it better. Usually rides in a small belt slide for me. And is very easily concealed by a loose shirt.
  14. "The secret to handgun stopping power remains to be where you shoot your opponent and how many times you shoot them." After all the discussion in the world about guns, caliber, and loads; this still is what it all comes down to. Training to get accuracy. Training in all types of shooting possible. Whehter it be static range time, IDPA, or any form of organized shooting or competition, advanced shooting and tactics of survival and evasion; it still comes down to one thing. Shot placement.
  15. I haven't gotten used to it enough to make it a permanent EDC, but I can see the potential that it might well become that for me. I kind of fall on the caliber debate issue at the moment. I really like my glock 30. It's really so close in size that I prefer it at the moment. But for shooting comfort and reliability, so far, the Rami is a real close second. The only issues I've ever had came with the use of a hicap mag that I got with the gun.
  16. What do you think of the Rami 2075? I bought one last year and have put a couple hundred rounds thru mine. I find it a very comfortable and accurate little pistol.
  17. One question......Why????
  18. Welcome to TGO. Hope you enjoy the ride. God Bless you and Thank You for your service.
  19. I don't. After looking at some of those pictures...I feel ill. I'd rather see the Kentucky Conan again than some of those.
  20. Gets worse evey time I see it.
  21. Mikey, I'm so very sorry for your loss. I know that you already miss her and will continue to do so until you're all reunited. My prayers are with you and your family.
  22. A Cold Steel K-Bar. Should be a good one. Looks very interesting. I'll check my sourses as well.
  23. My condolences. I've had that scenerio. You rarely win with them.
  24. Very goodlooking work.
  25. Very nice Kimbers. I have a Pro Carry II and a Raptor II, and would like to try a 9mm version next.
