  1. How about the Colt Ace? Is it too hard to find? I see one pretty often. Too high? Pardon my lack of knowledge on this, but I'm curious. My dad had one and shot it pretty often.
  2. Welcome to the land of 1911...the Baskin-Robbins of firearms.
  3. Pray for Iran to develop some level of intelligence and sanity, for I think the Isreali's are through playing around.

I'm very sorry for what happened to you. As others have said, it is a sad time when you can't even work in your own yard without locking doors. We lived in the Hermitage area (land of the bonnas) for 26 years before moving to Inglewood. (Yes, I know. Not much better, but we inherited an old family home.) And by that time, we'd acquired the habit of locking all doors on house and cars at all times. How very sad it is, for all of us.
  5. Especially today, but not only today; let us remember and honor all those past and present who gladly, willing, and faithfully served and protected this county. In honor of those who returned...and those who didn't... Thank You. And God Bless and Keep You.
  6. Ditto. I've bought several times from them and been very happy with everything I've gotten. Not always the absolute lowest price, but usually is, fast free shipping, and won't take your order then tell you it's out of stock.
  7. Good Luck with the P-40! It's quite a handful. But hold tightly and fire away! BTW, I'm envious; I never found one when looking for them.

    S&W MP15-22 Magpul

Sure good to hear nice things about the M&P22. I've been thinking about one or possibly putting a 22 conversion on the old mini 14.
  9. Chris, welcome to TGO, and Thank You for your service. God Bless You.
  10. Ditto on the strawberry aroma! I still remember a strawberry-scented graduation gift from high school sweetie. To this day, heavy strawberry scent gives me a .... uh, let's make that gives me a flashback. Yeah, that's it. A very interesting flashback.
  11. Quirky, intense, downright strange at times. I liked his role in Speed. Then there was Blue Velvet to consider. Definitely an unusual man and actor.
  12. Hi from Nashville! Looks like we share a name.
  13. Deadly little toy. I was surprised by the shot on the glass mug.
  14. You won't regret getting a bigger safe than you think you really need. It's far better to have a little extra space now than not enough and decide you need more shortly after.

Yes, when money permits. I have several 45's now. Some compact forms of various manufacture; and a Springer LW Operator, a glock 30, and others. But bil got a Kimber Raptor set. a commander and fs to go with his new Raptor Ford truck. Fell in love with the full size immediately. I shot better with it than my own guns that day. But couldn't talk him into letting me keep it. Just my luck.
  16. I've had a 48-gun Stackon for several years and found it to be of more than just acceptable quality. Got it at Dick's during an emplyoyee sale for around 900 otd. Have been very satisfied til the Great Nashville Flood of 2010. Unfortunately, it's not waterproof. Two feet of water for about 24 hours does not sit well with firearms.
  17. Check out the Dixie Model Railroad Club in Nashville. Maybe they can help you.
  18. Congratulations to GGP2JZ! And thanks to brooksjr and boogieman for their generosity.
  19. Looks really good. I simply have got to get by and meet the legendery Phil of Belshire.
  20. Congratulations! Like all new acquisitions; we need pictures! God Bless you and the family.
  21. Take far more memory sticks/cards than you believe you'd use in your wildest dreams. My brother-in-law went several years ago and got some of the most amazing photos I've ever seen. The sunsets are spectacular. And the beautiful old gnarled trees as a backdrop cannot be missed. Have a wonderful time!

Absolutely Beautiful!!! When I sell some stuff, I'd sure like to get one; or a Kimber Raptor.
