Pat Buchanan Drops the "R" Word
Worriedman replied to gun sane's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Will not be in Bells, I can not get 5 people riled up about the coming ban, way too small to make the point they will be looking for. -
Pat Buchanan Drops the "R" Word
Worriedman replied to gun sane's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Wonder where the next Ruby Ridge will be? The government will pick its spot so that the media can give a huge amount of coverage. They will need to create a massive show of force in order to sufficiently awe the Citizenry. It will be violent and bloody. It will, by necessity, need to occur quickly so that it will go hand in hand with the media blitz being ginned up to show Wal Mart and other "Big Business" interest to go along with the "reasonable, common sense" gun control restrictions about to be agreed to by Republican and Democrat alike. -
2nd Amendment Demonstration - Would You Attend
Worriedman replied to a topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Show up in Nashville at Legislative Plaza. Fill the halls, you have to go through a metal detector and maybe a pat down, so no worries about guns being a problem. Meet them where they work. Take a days vacation, let them know you are serious. -

Beth Harwell on gun legislation - 2013 session
Worriedman replied to R_Bert's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Campfield means well...I suppose. Just a point to consider, if Harwell is for it, check your six. -
Perfect accessory to haul a deer for an old man who can't snatch them up to the top rack anymore.

Most important speech of the century thus far?
Worriedman replied to MacGyver's topic in General Chat
MacGyver, I think the most salient point was "This too shall pass away". We have too few factions to survive as a Republic, having developed a majority now which is comprised of those who fall under your signature line, for surely the politicians have discovered that they may bribe the people with their own money, or at least a plurality of them are bribed by plundering the remaining few to keep the 535 in power. Ted Kennedy was re-elected till his dying day, and so shall the remaining Senators be ensconced until their last breath, exerting the power that We the People have given up. Religion plays a far lessor role in our Nation now than the lust for power. -
Anybody heard about a parking lot bill?

Have not seen a thing from any of the promised sources, but then that does not surprise me. -

Facebook becomes Big Brother, closes pro-gun accounts
Worriedman replied to mcurrier's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
If FB was going to shut down an account due to pro-gun content, mine would be the first to go. I have a group page for the Jackson Chapter, and we have one for TFA Statewide as well. My personal page is as pro-gun as I can make it, I have pile driven lots of legislators over anti-gun stances, and I sail merrily along... -
Man shot when ammo fell out of box
Worriedman replied to TripleDigitRide's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
If that were possible, I would look a a bloody piece of swiss cheese from all the .22 cartridges I have dropped on hard pack over the years... -
I spent Wednesday in a duck blind with a small town Officer and the Police Commissioner of that same small town. Both are of the opinion that only Law Enforcement and Military should have access to "Assault Weapons" and "Hight Capacity clips". Needless to say the conversation was somewhat strained. The remainder of souls in the blind were less than supportive of that stance, and the discussion as to why they felt they should be allowed to keep that specific type of weapon, with any kind of magazines simply because of their choice of employment failed to satisfy the other occupants. I am sure this but the first of many such conversations to come...

Since the ascension of Beth Harwell to the Speaker's position and Bill Haslam to Governor, there have been NO pro gun laws passed in TN.

You can not get people to write a letter, much less actually pick up arms.

Future Gun Control for CT in 2013
Worriedman replied to JohnC's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
It is not going to come from Washington, but like in the quoted instance here, from the States. Those who are concerned had best start developing a working relationship with their State Representatives and Senators, speaking at their Churches and to all their relations and acquaintances. Our enemies mean to destroy us now. -
How have you reacted personally? Bought guns? Mags? Ammo?
Worriedman replied to hipower's topic in General Chat
He is always fair, and goes way above and beyond to be of help to his customers. Who else will offer to stop and pick up a 1 lb can of powder in Clarksville and drop it off in Jackson as a service to someone who he has never met, or made a dime off of before? God grant me more Davids! I did ask him for an 8 lb jug of W 748 on his next trip through town. Let a buddy have 3-30 round Magpuls, he is just finishing his first build. Told him he could replace then when things settle down, or for what I paid for them if we can't get any more, I had a few extra. -

Freedom Group being sold...?
Worriedman replied to jeremy155rr's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I have personally spoken with some of the top echelon leadership about approaching firearms and ammunition manufacturers to come to TN. There was absolutely no interest in pursuing it from our "Supermajoirty" Republicans. -
Best pay attention to the person behind the curtain. Valerie Jarrett swings a lot bigger stick, and she is the one in charge.
