The last sentence stands on its own even without recent events. He is the worst kind of human.

I need to finish reading the article first.

New Shooter/Introduction Day-July 19
LagerHead replied to jaxjohn419's topic in Events and Gatherings
How convenient. I was thinking of making this very offer to all of my friends, FB or otherwise. What a nice segue. -
Not to mention there is something magical about getting in and seen in a short period of time rather than waiting hours in the emergency room. Needless to say my last trip to Centennial was great, considering.

[Forum Lawyers] Can’t you sue one of these companies?
LagerHead replied to DaveTN's topic in General Chat
More regulation is not the answer. He knew the rules. He broke the rules. That's just the way it is. One of the many reasons businesses and their rules are so screwed up today is the over-regulation of them. Because nobody is forcing him to work there. My company has a no guns policy both in the building and in their parking areas. I don't like it but I feel the financial incentives they offer me are good enough that I work here anyway. If I got fired for breaking that policy it would be nobody's fault but my own and I would have zero reason to bitch about it, regardless of the reason or my intentions when breaking the rule. -
We don't have the best gun laws in the country but we're far from the worst. We're working on it though.

...and they all smell. My Opinion Piece
LagerHead replied to timcar86's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Tim, that is an awesome piece. Do you mind if I use this? I would be more than happy to give you full credit. I would love to post this on Facebook, at least. -
So I was inspired and started playing with some ideas...

Oooooh, now you done it! -
I don't find it uncomfortable either. I have a good holster and that makes a big difference. But I don't always carry IWB. It depends on the pants I'm wearing.

respectable 2A journalism by Demoines Register (Gannett)
LagerHead replied to R_Bert's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
You're so dense. It's obviously because they're liberals and only thinking of the greater good. Sheesh, some people. -
The lottery drawing is 2 days away. Can you have her send me a PM with the winning numbers?

Chicago's proof of the effectiveness of gun restrictions.
LagerHead replied to a topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Maybe. But then how do they explain their drug problems? I guess criminals just don't pay attention to bans no matter what the other states say or do. Tell that to the hundreds of thousands of people each year who successfully defend themselves against criminals with their ineffective firearms. -
Not much at all. First, their turnaroumd times have been in the 20-25 day range. Second, I'm pretty sure the 6 month limit is to submit your application, not receive your permit. So get on it.

Deputy Sheriff Protects Activists First Amendment Rights
LagerHead replied to daddyo's topic in General Chat
That's funny! I know the LEO did a great job and that's all cool, but what I really liked about this video is seeing today's youth standing up for their rights. There is far too little of that today. And young people are so much more influenced by peer pressure which in today's culture is the liberalization of America. Bravo to them for standing up. -
If I win I won't complain too much.
That second pic down got me...just ewwhhhh..EWWWHHHHHH..
Well, you WERE warned. Man, I'll bet you made some old ladies blush when that happened. I know I would have spouted a few "colorful metaphors."

Reloading class at Lebanon Gun Shop
LagerHead replied to glock55's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
This IS a good question. I can't see droppin' a bill for a class when you can learn it all from a book. In addition any questions you have should be easily answered here. If you start with pistol ammo it's really not very difficult at all. Any questions you can't answer between the reloading books, TGO, and YouTube probably aren't beginner questions. But, if you have $100 of discretionary income and trust the guys I guess I could think of a worse way to spend a day. -
Thanks man ... It's a bloody mess right now... Don't think anyone would want to see it.
You'd be wrong. We're sadistic bastards.
Ugh.. ... Hope you feel better soon.. And no we do not need to see pics.. I get enough gnarly stuff to look at at home.
Better bow out of this thread while you still can. ;-)

Man, I need to get off my butt and learn how to this. Those guns look SWEET! -
It's funny, but it never actually happened unfortunately.
And finally I have a relative who is a Vietnam Vet, he served in Pleiku in 69-71. Every time we get together we have the same argument. He swears that his M16 was made by Mattel. No matter how many times I tell him Mattel has never manufactured a single firearm, he will argue with me that "I served in VN, I carried the rifle and I know damn well the word Mattel was right on the side of it". Ill explain to them how that old wives tale came about, but he still believes he carried a Mattel M16 in Vietnam. And I know he was in VN for a 1000% fact. This conversation (Argument) has been going on for years at every family get together and during every phone conversation.
Mattel did make the plastic pistol grip for some of the M16s and even printed their name on them. This may have led to the confusion.

Great speech. Too bad ALL politicians are bought and paid for and therefore can't have any nuts.
