I have shot one and was very surprised how controllable it was. Very manageable. Should note, I have small danty little girly hands so the grip wasn't too bad, but if you got man sized "Gorilla-choke-a-rottweiler" hands then it might be a little awkward.

Walmart usually does though. During teh ammo drought it seemed sometimes to be the only ones on the shelf. It is high... originally I paid $11 and $13 a box in 2000, now it runs pretty much the same price as .45 acp. I had always hoped it would catch on more with government and police agencies, with carbines being chambered for it as well. So ammo prices might fall or stay reasonable. (No such luck.) Good thing is used .357 sigs seem to bring lower prices if your wanting to grab a used one. Wait... I mean "pre-enjoyed".

Heck! I'd just like to get a plain old SBR under the tree one day! LOL! (Dern hope and change. )

What? No bayonet lug? Must be an old "pre-ban" model.

Time for that community to vote out those nine (regardless of if/when they change their minds) get a new nine, then change the rules making it mandatory that every house flys an American Flag or is fined for every day it is not flown. Scratch that... just run those nine out of that community. Yeah... I like that better.

I asked my wife to hold me. It was a very emotional time for me.

EXACTLY!!! What was it that Deniro's character said about pop'n Weingro when asked if he had the time... "I'll MAKE the time." LOL!!!

Some good cliff hangers. I know it's just a show and I try to leave my brain at the door... but is it just me or was the "IRA-Guy stealing Jack's son, Duct tape'n his girl friend up, getting on a high speed power boat and riding off as Jack collapses on a dock..." just a wee bit over the top? (The way Clay didn't pop slime ball, cause he had to go bugged me as well... come on? He's RIGHT THERE!! How long does it really take to to empty a mag in Slimey and grab a bag of chips on the way out?!? LOL!) I really like the show and everything else kept me guessing and on the edge of my seat. Maybe I'm being too critical. I just want it to feel like "no one is safe" on the show (Like the old X-Files.) and hope it doesn't morph into weird soap opera story arcs.

I have an entry level Savage 110 with a synthetic stock in .308 and it does fine by me. It consistently shoots better than me. It's about 6 years old, and doesn't have the accu-trigger. It's pretty generic... but does everything I want it to do.

Though I have never met you Poak... I have come to the conclusion that your "coolness" has got to be genetic. As this that story confirms! Hahaha!!! I would have love to have seen the look on that lady's face. Priceless I'm sure!

The fact that that question even gets asked now a days speaks volumes about our country as a whole.

Both my sons have one. And I have to admit... I love shooting them as well with them. So much... I have thought about getting one for myself! Hahaha!!! They are awesome! Just plain fun!

Hk USPc in .357 sig... Ditto on muzzle flash and being loud. From what I have read penetrates excellent through normal car doors and windshields. (One reason HWY patrols went with them.) The penetration in ballistic gell seem to mimic the .357 magnum, so with that said I don't see it being much different in risk for over penetration. (That's just my opinion though.) Mine I feel is very controllable, my wife qualified with it for her HCP and scored 100. I got a chance to shoot a baby glock in .357 sig... I had read in gun mags how punishing the recoil was and hard to control it is. I didn't have that experience though. It was fine. On recoil, I would rather shoot my Hk than a S&W snub nose in .357 mag. It's pretty well documented that it shoots incredibly flat, as well as round to round the ballistics are amazingly consistent. Speer noted that it was the most consistent of any handgun caliber they had ever tested. Due to the bottle neck design it was supposed. The main drawback I have is mainly the cost of ammo. FMJ at walmart run me $23 bucks... consider .40sw at $18 and .45 acp pretty much at $23 as well. If you order in bulk (Think 500rd, or 1000rd cases.) you can bring the unit cost down to around $15 for 50rds. A second barrel for my HK is going to run me $200 bucks and I am seriously looking into it at this time. There is also the well documented case (I have mentioned here before) of the effects the round has on the ladies. Definitely try and shoot one. I like them very much. But that is just me.

Actually we ought to buy some and have "ELITE TGO SECURITY TEAM" silkscreened on the back of them in Bright yellow for the guys to wear at the guns and gear event! LOL!!!

I really like hearing from older guys (than my son) who are taking good care of themselves with Type 1.

Hmmmmmmm... sounds like some lucky dog (uh, I mean Wolf) is getting a something special under the tree.

This is the Hen and Rooster I carry sometimes when hunting or fishing and stuff. My wife bought it for me for our 15th wedding anniversary. Until I got this one, I've carried a Remington two blade lock blade. Has a 4.5" main blade, and other blade has a gut hook with a small bone saw. Rubber handle. It's my main do anything knife. Gerber Mini EVO jr. for daily knife. (On my second one now.) My favorite is the "cowboy" style knife my Dad bought me when I was 11. leather sheath, and leather ringed handle. He bought it with me at a hardware store in N.C. you talk about feeling like a big kid! Hahaha!!! I'll have to grab a picture of it and post it.

I'm very sorry to hear that. My son was diagnosed Type 1 a year ago. It is a big lifestyle change but it is manageable. It sucks to hear this, as it did last year when I kept hearing it... but it really has gotten a lot better on the management end of things. The ADA has been a huge resource for us, as well as the JDRF. Are you on the slow (24 hour) acting insulin? Like Lantus? One shot a day? Or do you also have to have shots after meals with the faster acting stuff?

Hahaha!!! Classy!

I've been in printing for 20 years... I've never got to be around helicopters like that. • Reason Number 412 that printing sucks. You sir are cool! You are the kind of guy that makes career day at my kids school a real pain in the butt for me! LOL!!
