Just watched the press conference Obama did on this. Not even a day later and he is already talking about gun control, talk about being insensitive. I guess we should prepare for another  :poop: -storm. 

Picked this one up from a friend, who is actually a member on here but rarely signs on, for a deal I couldnt turn down. Its a ZT0550. The scales were already on the knife when I bought it from my friend. I really like it so far, I have a ZT0350 also and can already tell I like the Hinderer designed blade on this one better. Ive been at Lowes more than my own house these last 4 months, so to answer your question yes, I have been to lowes. Ive seen the rail you linked to and it is not one like mine. Ive come to find that Lowes' website pictures suck really bad. That rail has different ends on it than mine, and does not come in the correct length. Thanks for the help anyway!   Again, this rail is close, but the rails on my fence are flat on one side. Half round. I have seen every rail they sell at lowes, they dont have it. I understand I can make something work in its place. I was just trying to find an exact match to minimize my time spent on it. At this point I'm going to give monkeylizard's idea a try, by stealing a section from the end to use to repair the middle section. If that doesnt work out well then I guess I will rig something up or just tear it down. Thanks for the suggestions!

I have thought of it several times, but it just seems pointless for one rail. If I needed a decent amount more than I do then I would call a fencing company to come out and fix it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So my house finally hits the market next week. One of the last few things I have to take care of on the outside of the house is one missing rail from the fence in the front yard. I'm having a VERY hard time finding out EXACTLY what kind of fence this is so I can find one stinking rail. Everywhere I go, they want to call it split rail. However it is not regular split rail. I know the style is split rail, but one side of the rail is rounded, the other side is flat. It is not regular round rail either...tried that route too. A local fence wholesaler didnt even have it. He did tell me it looked like pine though, i thought it was cedar. Hopefully somebody here can give me some input. Please check out the pictures closely. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ive never seen one of these around my place till this morning. Sounded like the chinook of the insect world flying around my porch. It took 3 blasts of a good wasp and hornet killer to bring him down. I can only imagine what kind of pain the dagger on the tail end of this bad boy would bring! Quarter for scale. yeah there is a lot a little $#hit talking punks on xbox live. What I love is when there are talking all that crap and cussing every third word and you hear their parents come in the room and they forget to mute their mic. Always be mindful of whether that mic is muted or not!

Its like TrickyNicky said, would you rather go around unarmed? It's a Springfield, I'm sure itd go bang in the very unlikely event if I had to pull the trigger. If I hadnt been tossing around the idea of a new edc anyway, I would not have gotten this one. I guess i would have turned around and cussed the whole trip back to the house to get the nano because I refuse to go venturing into a foreign big city unarmed. Its just how the events of yesterday panned out made my mind up for me, so to speak. My wife knew I had been thinking about a new gun anyway too, so I think this was her way of saying go ahead lol.
