Every day before I walk into my daughters school to pick her up, i take it off and set it in the door of my truck. I usually put it right back on when I get back, except for this time. I had 1000 other things on my mind trying to get ready to leave for this trip. When we got home I got it out of my truck and took it in the house and from there just forgot about it. So I had to come up to St Louis this weekend for work, and I actually got to bring the family with me this time. As we are coming over Monteagle from Chattanooga I realize I had forgotten my carry gun! For a bit I actually debated on turning around and making the 45 minute trip BACK to Chattanooga just to pick it up, as St. Louis is not a place I want to be caught without it, especially in the light of recent events of the last few months around here, but we were already running late. So I mention to my wife the predicament and she agrees immediately that we either need to turn around and go get mine or suggests we stop somewhere around Nashville to buy a new gun!!!! She knows the importance of carrying. Needless to say her comment caught me off guard and the gears started turning immediately, but I already knew what I wanted. For the last month or so I have been thinking about selling my current edc (beretta nano) and upgrading to a large caliber edc anyway, so this was all the excuse I needed!! We stopped at the Academy in Smyrna and they had exactly what I wanted, and it was on sale too!!!! We were only in the store for about 30 mns total. Its kind of scary trusting a gun Ive never shot before but if its anything like my xdm there is no cause for worry. This is my first 45 and I cant wait to break it in when I get back.   Well said. I feel pretty much exactly like you do about the situation. I dont support it in any way form or fashion. Then again I believe we don't really have the right to tell other people how to live their lives. As you said, that is between them and god, and if it turns out to be an abominable sin, then they will have to answer for it at the pearly gates. I look at it kind of like a bad neighbor situation. You stay on your side of the fence and I will stay on mine. Dont push that lifestyle on me, which I feel is what this last episode of TWD did. They could have left the gay kiss out and not offended what I would GUESS to be well over half of their conservative, heterosexual viewing audience.

I've been thinking about making some kind of change to our cable as well. It's just so stupid expensive! I have only one concern though, it would be hard for me to give up the few shows I do watch. Is there some kind of service out there where you can watch shows (mine fore example are TWD and Game of Thrones) the same day/time they premiere WITHOUT cable? If such a thing existed, I wouldnt hesitate to tell Comcast to go kick rocks. I dont know of anything though, and thats why I'm still being robbed every month with my cable bill. However, I could just call Comcast and tell them I want to turn of my service, that will probably net me an extra $30 a month for awhile.

Bumping this one up. Wasnt really in the market right now but came across an AWESOME deal on this Hamilton Khaki mechanical. Actually a friend of mine found it for me while out and called me and told me about it. Loving it so far. If you get a 450 four stroke I would HIGHLY recommend NOT getting a mx style since you do not have any riding experience. Like a yzf450, crf450r, rmz450, etc. They are making those things dangerously fast these days. The motors will rev to the moon and rev quick too. I rode my buddies yz450f and couldnt believe how fast it was. I have a yfz450 quad and its fast as crap too, but you can play with the throttle a little more on a quad than a dirtbike. If I were in your shoes I'd take a look at the newer ktm four stroke trail bikes. I THINK they make a 300, which would probably be about perfect for a new rider. It wouldnt be too much or too little. I've been around dirt bikes and atv's my whole life, I've had em all. 2 stroke, 4 stroke, 125, 250, 450. As a matter of fact since I was 5 years old I've never been without one for more than a few months. If I can be any help to ya LJ just pm me man! Your right, so far I love them! I couldnt believe how well they fit, they fell into place perfectly. I hated using them cause they were so nice lol, but at the end of the day they ARE floor mats after all. I like how the sides go up a few inches to keep and debris and nastiness from getting under the mat.    Nice. A Christmas present as well?

David, both of my in laws had the SAME EXACT thing over the last couple of weeks. My FIL got it about a week before Christmas so he was well enough to attend our family Christmas on Christmas day. However my MIL got it from him about two days before Christmas so she stayed in the house by herself unfortunately. Thats no way to spend Christmas I know but it was for the best. They both said the same thing, coming out of both ends and it lasted about 4-5 days. My FIL said it was the sickest he had been in along time. Same here! Please know I brought it up NOT for the reason of getting a gift!! At the time I didnt know the forum status of my SS, so I brought it up that maybe somehow, if he/she signed up and did not care enough to send a gift out, we could exclude them from participating next year.

i got mine just a few weeks ago and it was $299 (64gb). They had a trade in program right after the iphone 6 released where they were giving pretty good money actually for your old iphone trade ins. I missed it out on it but they were giving $200 for iphone 4s trade ins. I had to order mine and it took around 3 weeks, maybe a little less, to get in. Good luck in your search
