One would think. Only way it wouldn't, that I can think of is if the buffer tube isn't made correctly.
-
Well there should be. This whole thing is terribly confusing.
-
No, much more recent. I don't remember the ones a year ago. This was within the last few months. Eh, you know what. Sure. They didn't really happen. Bartlett is Utopia. No crime there.
-
It’s been a couple months. And old Bartlett. Around BHS

That's a "colorized" black and white photo. Here's the original.

Bartlett has a lot of shootings. I know there were like five in one neighborhood one weekend recently. They definitely don't get the press though. I'm right next do to you, just over the line in Raleigh. I had a road rage incident stop in front of my house and a guy get out, fire five shots at the car following him and then they drove off. Cops couldn't have cared less.

KS47 is not an acceptable caliber. I also had to look that up as I didn't know what it was. I was just looking over the Adams Arms site and I didn't see anything under 7 dry. Once loaded and with optic, you will be outside of the weight range. I'm sure that something exists, I just haven't seen it.

What rifles are available that offer x51 and under 7 pounds, besides bolt guns? The rifle wasn't an end all be all. That was never the intent. And as Rod Teague pointed out, we are talking about the concept originating pre-1990 and it did evolve after that.

Man, that sight looked cool at first glance but on closer inspection, it gets a big nope. That battery tray is just begging to fall out. I think a small redesign to have a mechanical lock on the side of the sight to hold in the tray would be fine. And the fact that they gave it a water rating but no dust rating bothers me too. I would assume that it has some level of protection against dirt/dust/sand but they didn't bother to actually test it. As for the APX, I've seen that cabelas has all models for $330. Seems a bargain for a serviceable pistol.

Zeroing red dots. Is it right if it’s only right for YOU?
Capbyrd replied to One1's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
Eliminate the dot from the picture. Take a handgun with iron sights to the range and repeat the test with the same buddies. I bet you get similar results. Which removes the dot as the issue. Unless the dot is actually an issue and it's not holding zero. -
Nope. We've never met before, I swear.

Absolutely. I don't think that medication is the correct option, and definitely not for everyone. I am only saying that spankings don't work on everyone. Sometimes there is something else at play that is much stronger than any switches I can fetch.

First off, if you are "pulling," you need to fix yourself. Secondly, you zero the pistol for you. Optics are always zeroed for the owner or primary user. Period. -
You didn't. I just don't think it's as simple as we should beat them and they will be fine. Mental illness is a real thing and you can't spank that out of someone.

No it didn't. Some kids grow out of the ADHD thing. The ones that didn't, regardless of butts being "warmed up" have grown up to have some real adult problems. There are studies that show that children diagnosed with ADHD are growing up to later be diagnosed with Bipolar disorder. It could have been misdiagnosed when they were a child or there could be something that links these two disorders. And if you are around them enough, you will find a lot of alcoholism and drug abuse in bipolar people. Self medicating taken too far.

The plexiglass is to protect them from you.

Same. Although we didn't know the word autism back then. We just knew they were special and they had special classes.

It also just helps to know cars. Jaguar as a company name didn't exist until 45 which is also when they started using the leaping jag hood ornament. Prior to that, they were Swallow Sidecar Company and changed the name to SS Cars Limited when they switched to full time auto production. The SS Jaguar of the 30s was a model. Post WWII, SS had a very negative connotation and the Jaguar was extremely popular so they changed the name and rebranded themselves in 1945. Since the car in the picture is CLEARLY a pre-war car, it stands to reason that it CANNOT be a Jaguar since Jaguar didn't exist.

Got my order from Brownells in and was able to do a chamber cast this morning. Here are the materials used. I disassembled the upper and put the barrel in the vice. I used a patch shoved into the bore as a barrier. The cerrosafe is very hard and I didn’t have a way to cut it without making a mess so I just put a corner into the ladle and heated it that way. Unfortunately I ended up dripping a little because the ladle was so small. But I was able to melt enough to make a good cast first go round. If I was recommending this to someone else, I’d recommend a larger ladle or cut the cerrosafe into small pieces. anyways, here is the result. I’m confident now that this is a 5.56 or 2.23 barrel. I still need to get a set of gauges to check headspace.

I think the gun was inherited so I would imagine it was lost by the previous owner. I can easily see someone storing the bolt separately for safety and it being lost in the estate.

Because they work. I don’t think he would have had a problem with a semi auto if they proved durable enough.
