  1. Top is CPM154 and bottom is D2. I like them both.
  2. Yup.  The clip is on the other side.  And the great thing about these is that they are a standard emerson style three hole clip.  Which means you have options for customization!   Do you like skulls or crosses?  Dog paws or lions?  Steel flame has you covered with some badass clips.     http://steelflame.com/knife-clips/     And I think Les George even has some stamped clips (much cheaper) that have his dagger logo on them.  You could contact him about getting one.
  3. I love my SOE gear.
  4. Nice. I like the tuxedo knives. Two that I want are the Emerson and the Brend Model 1.
  5. Its anodized aluminum.  Its going to wear just like AR receivers.
  6. Spoke with him a great deal this weekend.  Great guy.
  7. I had a blast this year.  Didn't come to play so it was just fellowship for me.  Couldn't have been better.
  8. I dig it.

    My 300blk

Thanks guys. DustBuster, it's a YHM phantom.
  10. I have the 7 inch with cmt receivers. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/77987-my-300blk/?fromsearch=1
  11. Looks great.  Wish I had had mind done.  I might in the future.
  12. I'll be there. Best place to find me will be the pit Thursday and Friday nights.
  13. Thanks Kwik...
  14. I'm waiting on my box and shipping label to show up.

    Non-NFA SBR?

It's new. I wish it looked like the old lower. But I might use one anyways. http://www.seekinsprecision.com/parts-and-accessories/ar-lowers/seekins-precision-sba15-lower-includes-ambi-bolt-stop-assy.html

    Non-NFA SBR?

New seekins receiver takes care of that. Detent and spring are installed under the grip.

    Non-NFA SBR?

I know it works for people.  And I was surprised by it the first time that I shouldered one.  But it still isn't comfortable for me.

    Non-NFA SBR?

For a lot of people, its fine and replaces the need for an SBR.  For someone that wants a longer length of pull, it sucks and even the KAK tube ain't long enough.

Nah Ted. With the can on, it balances out. I chose the UBR because it was heavy.

Brass is tucked away nicely waiting to be prepped.

Finally got some ammo and made it out to the range this morning.       https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MVeWNQYBNGM     Performs flawless with the can on.  Will not feed the next round of subs without the can.  Gonna try a lighter buffer to see if I can get it cycling subs reliably.     I tell you, I've been through a lot of ARs and this is far and away my favorite.  Its soooo smooth.  I'm incredibly happy with how it all worked out.  This might just be my new favorite toy in the safe.
  22. I am so excited that this is going well.  And I feel that this might be a gateway drug for some of y'all.  These are aluminum handled and great.  But Les just finished a couple of prototypes for Pro-Tech of textured stainless steel handled versions.  You guys might just start a full collection of Rockeyes.
  23.     I haven't ever built an AK and I know as much about them as the mechanicals of Big Ben.  But I would bet that the rear trunion has nothing to do with headspace.  Course, I've been known to be wrong about clocks...
  24. Don't toss it out, send it to me.
  25. Why are wanting to take the much harder pin/weld route over the easier pistol route?   Bend the flat and assemble it as a pistol.
