  1. I'm not a big fan of DLC, mostly because my pitiful efforts at sharpening have marked up my TGO Rockeye.. I got my TGO Magic with the stonewash blade, and I love it! My vote would be for the stonewash finish on the Strider.

    Blackheart AK?

Anyone familiar with Blackheart AK's? I found an underfolder at a good price at my LGS and put it on layaway. I looked online and didn't find anything bad about them, but didn't find much info at all about the company. It'll be my first AK.
  3. I had to reset my password too.. Works now though.
  4. I love it! Perfect size and weight for EDC. I asked for a Wicked Edge on mine, and let me tell you, it is indeed wicked sharp! If anyone is on the fence about using Willis' sharpening services, go for it. You won't be sorry!
  5. Congratulations!
  6. Cool. Mine is coming with a Wicked Edge!
  7. I'm evil.  I told my 4 year old that they only play music when they're out of ice cream..  He'll figure it out soon.
  8. E-mail sent.   Thanks - I'm looking forward to getting this knife!

    Safety question.

I eject it about a foot straight up in the air and catch it, like the guys in the movies...  (Not really.)   I cup my hand over the slide and tip the gun so that it pops into my hand.- never had a problem or concern.
  10.   I have a couple of the inexpensive Baofeng Ham radios and a solar charger for them in my bug-out bag.  The programming software makes setting them up a lot easier/faster, and I picked up the software and cable for around $9 on EBay.  All things considered, pretty economical back-up comms in an emergency.   KK4LNX
  11. Unless I'm being treated for a gunshot wound, my response will always be limited to "The answer to that question is not relevant to my visit here today."
  12. I'm in for number 11, stonewash blade.
  13. I work for Emergency Management, so I HAVE to go out in this stuff, even if it's my regular day off..  I drove my rear/2 wheel drive pickup truck back and forth to work all weekend past numerous vehicles stuck or in ditches, and even had to call in someone to help with a big 4-wheel drive SUV that spun right in front of me.  If you use your head, with just a little luck you can stay out of trouble.
  14. The report I saw on TV said that the guy was walking around New York with the ticket in his shirt pocket..  I guess if you're lucky enough to win Powerball you assume you're lucky enough not to get mugged.
  15.   I'm saving for at $99 copper still on E-bay.
  16.   I found that a lot of the 'SHTF titles' are availale for 'free' on Kindle Unlimited.  Also - I just searched Amazon and found a bunch of reloading books and manuals avilable at no charge under the program.
  17. Looks like the Goodman Show isn't the only one affected...     "The discussion comes as a second gun show operator, RK Gun Show, was contracted to hold shows at the fairgrounds. This is in addition to Bill Goodman’s Gun and Knife show which as operated regularly at the fairgrounds for 35 years."   http://www.newschannel5.com/news/local-news/new-safety-regulations-considered-at-nashville-fairgrounds
  18. Me too...
  19. I really like the Tuxedo style!
  20. I vote Magic with stonewash blade.
  21. Got it Saturday, and it is a thing of beauty.  My son is going to love it, but he won't see it until Christmas.  (I hide my wife's presents in the gun safe and presents for my teen-agers in the laundry room...  no one ever finds anything.)
  22.   Or, invaded by stronger enemies to solve their food crisis.
  23.   Don't be afraid to ask.  I thought the same thing until I checked, and now I'm (not-so-patiently!) waiting while Grand Torino makes exactly what I wanted.
  24.   But if it's a Zombie Apocalypse I'll be able to run a lot faster and still be able to read.
