  1. Bronker, Glad to know I'm protected
  2. Mike, glad to know I'm not the only one that thinks those 44 mags have some recoil. For a while I've been thinking it was just me.
  3. I agree about stuff not selling on LSN. If you go there regularly you see the same listings being reposted over and over again without ever being marked down in price.
  4. I too like wwb, but the blazer does seem to shoot just as good for less money. Also like Georgia Arms 180 jhp, I think it cost me $12.25/50, but of course that was after $7 gun show entry fee.
  5. Savage 30/06 for the deer, Remington 870 for moving targets, 10/22 for everything else
  6. My brother in law used to hunt squirrels with dogs. One day the dogs treed but kept moving from tree to tree. He knew something was unusual by the way they were barking. When he gets to the tree low and behold there's a bobcat. Needless to say it's mounted in the family room now.
  7. That is freakin' awesome!
  8. Or you can rub a moderator the wrong way (or right way ) and possibly get one... but you might not like the title they give you. lol That's a good point...and I always thought "on vacation" was a good thing!
  9. Cool, thanks for the info.
  10. So you can kill and cook the bear at the same time
  11. Yea, maybe it's just me not dealing with the recoil well. I kinda wish I had gotten the 357 so I could shoot 38 specials at $10-$15 a box. But I bought mine used and took what I could get sorta because I hardly ever see the 357's for sale.
  12. Ya'll are making me jealous talking about AR's. Got my mind made up on building a varmint rifle AR, just don't have the funds.
  13. I've got a Marlin 1894 in 44 mag. Love the handling, size, and looks, but the recoil bothers me. Thought it was just me, but I let a buddy shoot it and he said the same thing. After 5 shots, shoulder is bruised. To be fair that is with full power magnum loads. Anyway, thought about getting rid of it for a 357 in the same gun if that helps you any.
  14. Absolutely love shooting my old MKI target
  15. I've been looking for an affordable red dot, how's that bushnell?
  16. 1) clay pigeons 2) bottles or can 3) shoot-n-see
  17. No you're not, I really haven't watched any of either, but being on the road alot, I've heard all about both of them on the rado.
  18. +1 for me also, I'm ready
  19. I've used the 40 S&W and 44 mag with good results, the 40 ammo was pretty accurate.
  20. Or...you could just go buy me the Eotech and I'll let you borrow it.
  21. I agree totally, great reliability, great accuracy, priced right, and almost unlimited options for customizing.
  22. Anybody have an opinion (from 1st hand exerience) about cheapo red dot scopes, specifically the BSA that WW sells? This isn't going to be for home defense or anything life protecting just for a plinking gun. Don't tell me to buy an Eotech or other high end sights, I can't afford them right now.
  23. +1 That's probably the best advice on this thread!
  24. Beretta
  25. Very cool rifle, let us know how it shoots.
