  1. I just replaced my KAC M5 rail with a Magpul MOE. I just didn't like having all that rail and weight when all I had mounted was a bipod. Next I'm picking up a new scope, probably a Burris fullfield II 3x9 in a PEPR mount. Then I'm looking at a new stock of some sort, either a RRA operator A2 stock or the Magpul PRS stock.
  2. 97 Toyota Tacoma DR/Icon Coilovers front, Extended shackle/aal rear for about 2" lift Custom built front/ rear bumpers Budbuilt skid plates Rear E-locker 32" Bfg MTs And a bunch of other stuff It's been a great truck but I'm considering trading or selling it and picking up a stock 4runner.
  3. I would check it out but I'm considering selling my truck and getting out of the offroad scene. I just don't have the time or money for it anymore.
  4. I would love to get a Ruger wheelgun in .357, that will probably be my next gun purchase.
  5. I have one of the competition range bags as well. It's been awesome so far, I'm planning on picking up one of the smaller versions as well.
  6. Thanks guys, it's good to be home! Doubtful, I should have a little time at home though.
  7. Update: I just returned from my most recent deployment. I hope to be able to spend some more time on here now!
  8. What a shame, prayers for a speedy recovery.
  9. I'm looking forward to watching the second season when I get back to the states, I'll have to make sure the wife is recording it for me. This is one of the best shows on tv for sure.
  10. I was in class, my senior year of high school. I left for basic training as soon as I graduated.
  11. I'm glad I'm somewhere where I'm not able to watch the news for a while. I get tired of being lied to by our polititions.
  12. I hope this link works. http://m.mailtribune.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20110808/NEWS/108080320&template=wapart Things like this give me hope for our country.
  13. Just giving you a hard time. I like the older Toyota pickups and have a '97 Tacoma myself. It only has 230k though, just getting broken in.
  14. No such thing as an '89 Tacoma.
  15. I just did my helmet using this pattern. Here is a short crappy how-to. Start with base color, for me tan; Then take netting and wrap it around whatever you want to paint; Apply secondary colors, in this case green and brown; Let dry, then remove net; If you don't like the way it looks, start over. This helmet is too light for our environment, I will be using it in Afghanistan so I made it lighter with that in mind. It actually came out darker then I wanted when I removed the net so I gave it a light dusting of tan to make it lighter.
  16. Maybe I'm missing something but if the LEO agencies were required to sell the guns by law wouldn't that pretty much remove any liability they could have?
  17. http://abcnews.go.com/m/story?id=14179096 Here is one article that mentions it.
  18. I made my post before his intent to bomb a restaurant became public. Also, his plan was to bomb the restaurant and then gun down any survivors as they emerged from the wreckage. If one were to survive the initial blast being armed yourself would be very important when confronting an armed assailant, wouldn't you think? Of course irregardless of this individuals target the fact remains that the military's stance on active shooters is asinine and idiotic.
  19. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2011/07/28/exclusive-us-military-serviceman-arrested-in-second-alleged-attack-on-ft-hood/ These kind of attacks are not going away anytime soon. So what is the military's answer? Allow service members the ability to defend themselves? Of course not. The answer is to make it more difficult for service members to have legally owned weapons on base. (Even though that would have done nothing to prevent these style of attacks) On top of that they're training service members to do the following in case they find themselves in an "active shooter" situation; A. Run away B. If not able to run away, hide C. If found, throw things at the shooter D. If all else fails, then try to disable the shooter. Genius, pure f'ing genius.
